Arrow Reunion Fanfic! (finally posted!)

OK, I've finally posted it, inbetween a family reunion, packing for a summer camp, and never getting a chance to post it up... so enjoy it and tell me what you think! I've renamed it too -- "You take the good, you take the bad, then you have the facts of life"

*Blair's office, covered in boxes. She is sitting on a chair, finally relaxed. Someone knocks on the door*
Blair *irritated*: What?
*Jo walks in.*
Blair: You're early. And isn't the reunion at the house?
Jo: Hi to you too, Blair, and yes, it has been a long time. *sighs* I haven't seen you in 13 years and all I get is "You're early"...?
Blair: Sorry, it's this packing business. I'm moving and it's a hassle having to pack.
Jo: Tell me about it. Rick and I are thinking about moving, but we don't know how to tell our daughter the whole "We're moving" speech.
Blair: Daughter?
Jo: Anna's nine and a half and according to her, the Bronx is all she knows and all she wants to know. She's talkative, kind of like Tootie --
Blair: Spying on people?
Jo: Hope not -- and she's really popular at her school. It'd hurt her to leave it.
Blair: Well, what I told my son - *Jo smiles* - and he's twelve and a half, so don't think Anna and Eric are going to like each other in thatway - was that we were making changes, and that although they weren't sounding good, they would be good later on. We're not even moving that far away, but we've got to move houses and all.
Jo: Where's...
Blair: Cliff? Business as usual. C'mon, let's go, be a little early. Can we take your car, actually? Mine's full of boxes.
Jo: Sure.
*They walk out. Anna turns away from looking at Eric*
Anna: Mom, this is Blair's son, and you know the funniest thing in the world? He's going to the reunion too!!.
Jo: I know.
Anna: So we can see each other some more!
*Eric just rolls his eyes. Blair laughs*

*Jo's car*
Blair: So where's Rick?
Anna: Dad's working, and at first he said he could come, 'cause he could skip a party where he had to play the piano, but then Mom said he had an obligation to the party and she had an obligation to the reunion and so they'd have to do their own obligations.
Jo: Anna...
Anna: What? It's true!
Blair: Sure she's not Tootie in disguise?
Jo: Tell me about it.
Anna *to Eric*: So, who's your favorite actor?
Eric: I don't know..
Anna: Mine's Jay Harrington! And no matter what anyone says he's really all mine! He's soo cute in The Division, that cop drama! That Jinny Exstead is so lucky!
Jo: I think Jinny's played by someone, Anna... Nancy McKeon or something.
Anna: Then that Nancy McKeon is so lucky 'cause she gets to work with him but you know what even if she does he's really all mine!
Eric: That's nice.
Anna: He's even handsomer than Dad!!
Eric: That's also nice. *looks over at his mother, wondering how long left*
Anna: My goal's to meet him!
Eric: Very nice.. ...

*The car continues on, Anna talking the whole way*

*The house*
Tootie: I'm just saying you shouldn't have given me one star when you saw that movie with me and George Clooney!
Natalie: Then don't read The New York Times ! I gave you five stars for that other movie.
Tootie: But that movie was horrible!
Natalie: No, the George Clooney movie was. See, according to this review of mine *holds the newspaper and points to a review*, "While George Clooney showed merit in the film along with co-star Dorothy Ramsey, the movie could not save itself from more than one star". See, I at least said you had some merit to it!
Tootie: But...
*Jo, Blair, and tow walk in. Natalie gets up and immediately hugs them all, right down to Eric, who looks confused*
Anna: You're Natalie, right?
Natalie: Yeah. You're...?
Anna: Anna Bonner. I'm nine.
Natalie: Jo's kid.
Anna: Naturally. I know a lot about you, Natalie Green, who always wanted to be an author and all that stuff. Your best friend was Tootie.
Tootie: Still is, right, Nat?
Anna: And you live in SoHo! And you're engaged to Snake!! You should have kids named Andaconda and Serpent! And rename yourself Boa Constrictor! That'd be soo cool!!!
Natalie: Yeah... *turns to Jo* Sure this isn't Tootie's kid?
Blair: I've asked, believe me.
*Anna starts to talk, then notices Tootie*
Anna: I know you!
Tootie: I'm Tootie, I used to ride rollerskates, spy on people, spread gossip, have a crush *sighs dreamily* on Jermaine Jackson... *laughs* Now you've got me telling you my history instead of you telling me.
Anna: You're Dorothy Ramsey! And you were in that movie with George Clooney!
Tootie: Yeah, I was. Did you like it?
Anna: Mom wouldn't let me see it so when it came out on HBO I watched it from that. It was great! Five stars all the way!
*Tootie looks at Natalie*
Natalie: What?
Jo: You know, guys, the only person missing...
Blair: Is my kid!
Eric: Uhh, hi. *looks bored*
Jo: I was going to say, Mrs. Garrett.
Natalie: You mean Mrs. Gaines.
Tootie: She's Mrs. Garrett to me. Anyone hear from her?
Jo: Nope.
Blair: I called her a week ago. Never called back.
Anna: Oh, I know Mrs. Garrett! That person who bailed you guys out of jail when you went to that chugalug bar and you had to work in the kitchen until you paid off all the debts and then you had a paint fight *doorbell rings. Jo goes off to get it, but nobody hears Jo; they're too transfixed in Anna's discussion to notice it's Mrs. Garrett* and then you had to pay off again and then she went off to Africa and then...
Mrs. Garrett: She returned because she decided it was too long without her "girls" and so she arrived back a week ago but kept it secret until now.
*Natalie shrieks, throwing down her paper*
Natalie: Mrs. Garrett!! Guess what!! I'm a New York times movie critic!
Mrs. Garrett: Tootie!! Natalie!! Blair!! Jo!!
Tootie: I'm first, finally!
Mrs. Garrett: Let me see you all -- Tootie, you look just as good as you did years ago, if not more! I loved that last movie of yours, just wonderful. And Blair -- headmistress of Eastland, as what I heard...
Blair: I'm moving out to become dean of Langley, actually.
Mrs. Garrett: Dean of Langley, as what I've now heard! *laughs* Jo... successful businesswoman, and an adorable little daughter!
Anna: Little?
Mrs. Garrett: And Natalie... you look fantastic!
Natalie: Thanks! And I'm engaged to Snake, too!
Mrs. Garrett: Snake? *realizes* Oh yes, Beverly Ann told me about him.
Blair: How's she doing?
Mrs. Garrett: Happy in Sydney, according to what I've heard. Pippa and Andy got married --
Jo: How cute!
Mrs. Garrett: And they're staying in Sydney, saying they're just so sorry they couldn't make it, but they said they'd try to squeeze in some time maybe in three weeks or so. They've got a little baby of their own...
Natalie: Boy or girl?
Anna: Wait, wait! Beverly Ann's your sister, isn't she, Mrs. G? And she came when you left and Andy's that dude who worked in your old store and Pippa's that Australian exchange student and...
Mrs. Garrett: That's right. Pippa actually had triplets --
Tootie: Whoa.
Mrs. Garrett: All girls, too.
Natalie: Now that's cute.
Blair: Where's Bruce?
Mrs. Garrett: Well, he...
Jo: Oh, I'm sorry.
Natalie: When?
Mrs. Garrett: Last month, just before I left.
Blair: Oh... *sniffs, in a sad way* He was really nice.
Mrs. Garrett: He was. Anyway, girls --
Jo: Girls?
Mrs. Garrett: "Anyway, women" doesn't sound good. *laughs* What's new?
Tootie: I've got a new movie coming out.
Jo: We're maybe moving.
Anna: What?
Jo *realizes what she said*: Anna, it's just a possibility. We're making changes, and although they're not good, they might be good after all. *smiles at Blair*
Anna: Yeah, they might be good after all. And if they're good after all, I'll be glad and if I'm glad...
Blair *whispering to Jo*: Nice save.
Jo: Thanks.
Blair: Any time.
Natalie: And I've been a critic for ten years.
Blair: And I'm dean of Langley, which is causing us to move.
Mrs. Garrett: You're all so grown up!
Blair: Thanks, Mrs. Garrett!
Mrs. Garrett: How about a picture?
Anna: Oh, oh, can I take it? I'm really good at taking pictures. That's what Dad says. He says I could take many, many pictures and be a photographer if I wanted and and...
Jo: Take it, Anna.
*Mrs. Garrett takes out a camera. Anna takes it quickly*
Anna: Say... say... Jay Harrington!
Blair: Who's he?
Jo: Anna's crush.
Blair: Oh, okay.
Jo: Anna, just tell us to say cheese.
Anna: Say cheese!
Everyone: Cheese!
*The picture's taken and the screen turns to it, just like the last episode*

I really liked it! There haven't been many fanfics lately about the reunion so I'm going to post one later. Stay tuned! Once again, loved the fanfic!

------------------
Jo: Partners? You mean 50-50? Uh, 50-50-50-50-50?
Blair: Good, Jo, we'll let you do the books!

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

And from your two resident off-topic queens, Danielle and I, who are still looking for that 12 step program by the way:

*^*^*~~~God Bless~~~*^*^*
