A friend of mine was in an episode of The Golden Girls but has forgotten the name of the episode...it is the one where Dorothy is speaking at a career day event at a high school and one of her former students shows up and ends up offering her a job as a motivational consultant/teacher for the top executives of his company which designs and manufactures video games.

Ultimately, Dorothy returns to teaching at the high school level because she realizes that these execs have no interest in learning more and she is not "reaching" them, whereas there remains the hope and possibility that she can positively influence the life of a teenager....

Sound familiar? Do you know the name of the episode, or the season?

PS: Another storyline in this episode is Blanche instilling fear into Rose that Miles could perhaps have his eye on a younger woman as he approaches his golden years. I think the episode is from season 4, 5, 6 or 7.
