Why, I'd like to know, is it that several '90's comedies (like "Seinfeld," "Friends," and "Raymond") have gotten the plum releases (every season released, complete series sets) whereas a lot of other series quit in the middle of their runs or are never released at all?

Apprently according to the sales statistics that I read, current and recent shows sell much better than classic shows on DVD. Who really knows though, because some studios are better at releasing older shows than others.
