Subtle funnyman Fred Willard brings his comic skills to 'Back to You'
"Back to You" Electric second banana. That's loopy cool Fred Willard, the veteran comic actor who has contributed his distinctively sly touch of wigged-out zaniness to everything from "Fernwood 2-Night" to "Best in Show." In the entertaining new TV newsroom farce with Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton, Willard's been a hoot as sportscaster Marsh McGinley, who tonight gives hapless reporter Gary (Ty Burrell) a hand with an audition tape. Oops.
