Question The Bionic Woman

Did anyone watch The Bionic Woman last week? I just got around to watching it and thought it was pretty good. It had a lot of action and there's even a evil bionic lady villian. Any thoughts on it?

Thumbs up

I finally sat down and watched it. It was REALLY good. I wasn't expecting it to be that good. Nice storytelling and cool effects (that weren't over the top!). The action scenes were great too.

The only problem I had with the Pilot, was that it felt sped up and rushed. Was it originally 2 hours, and they cut it in half? It seemed like certain things moved on too quickly. Jaime was in this horrible accident, and I never felt like it was dealt with properly. She went right back to bartending? She trusts this random guy (at the end)? She didn't take a moment to think about what really happened to her.

I think The Bionic Woman Pilot episode was the best of all the Pilot's this year. I give it a 9/10.

I was pleasently surprised because most people online seem to be saying the pilot was okay but nothing great. I really enjoyed it. A lot of times they try to put too much into the first show and they have to introduce all the characters. Hopefully the rest of the episodes won't feel as rushed. I hope it continues to stay strong opposite PP.

Bringing in the original Bionic woman is a nice idea. I like that Jaime will have a female nemesis....Especially a pissed off one! (And not to mention Katee Sackhoff is a great actress)....I can't wait to see where this rivalry goes.

The whole story with Jaime is that she's now a government property, and must participate in secret operations or be killed...I'm guessing this is the exact same thing the blonde had to do, but rebelled against them. We shall find out soon enough. As the promo says "This is only the beginning."

They didn't show much of the other bionic lady on the second show but it does seem like she might not be as bad as I first thought. The second episode was action packed and very fast-paced. I really like the show.
