Hi everybody, just to inform you....

On last June, i posted a message on this board, I was looking for about 12 Diff'rent Strokes episodes in order to complete my own collection. Just one day after, I was contacted by Lisa Mailman (nick: tug452, e-mail: garfieldrules34@yahoo.ca) from Nova Scotia, Canada. She promised her old, full set on tape to me, since she converted it to dvd and didn't need the tapes anymore.

For trade, she just asked two Facts of Life episodes I had in my collection.

We both sent several messages, one to other, but, after she sent her shipping address, she totally disappeared. I tried to contact a lot of times, but she never answered to my e-mails, just once, after about two months (august): she told me to be sorry for late since "she has her baby in hospital due to a pneumonia" and promised to send the tapes "tomorrow".

Other weeks was gone but nothing arrived at home. Then, I found a lot of messages about her "bad trading" reputation: she was already known as a bad trader and set stealer. Anyway I wanted to continue to write her, day after day, but no answer at all.

Then, suddenly, she sent a new message, a bit angry and annoyed, talking about "her daughter" promising the trade by using her e-mail address: "I didn't promised nothing to you" - she said - "my daughter used my e-mail without my permission but I never talked to you before". Then: "Anyway I don't have full series, just some of it, had something in my collection, I will send it to you, but I DON'T WANT to see another e-mail from you"

Of course, other weeks went away and nothing arrived at home. Now, the e-mail garfieldrules34@yahoo.ca doesn't exist anymore, the MAIL server rejected my messages when I tried to write to her again. I check her trading site (she told it to me on july), she put another e-mail address on the contact page. I sent a message to the new e-mail address last saturday, of course, no answer; I sent another yesterday, the message bounced back with "no such user" message. Another e-mail address flying away in the wind.

So, she's definitely a bad trader, I wanted to leave my bad experience to you. Lisa Mailman is known as a bad trader since 2003, but I just want to say she's STILL AROUND here; always equal to herself, just wishing to swindle honest traders even if without having true profit. She only is happy to joke with people in the world. A bad, stupid joke.

Sorry for bad english. I hope I could help all honest traders here, anyway.

Thank you for posting this....it never amazes me how many people scammers try to screw over.
Sorry to hear she is still out there and still taking advantage of people.
