I won't be online for at least a few days, possibly a week. I will be recovering this week from eye surgery.

I have surgery this morning at 7:30am. I have to be at the hospital by 5:30am. I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep at all behfore hand. I am hoping the cataract surgery goes well. I'm very nervous.

My brother works for a company that makes the lasers they use for that surgery, they are very reliable..when my Grampa was in his 90s, my brother convinced him to get the surgery and he did.....after 60 years of wearing glasses, my Grampa was able to see without them, so, dont fret, youll be fine!

As part of his job, my brother has a kind of "salesman's sample" which consists of a big plastic eye that can be taken apart in sections to show the inner parts of the eye, grossest thing i've ever seen!

I hope your surgery went well, Jenny. My husband had that done last year, and tossing out those contact lenses was the best thing ever. Rest up, and keep us posted whenever you're ready.

Aww, poor thing. Pain is awful. But keep your chin up and hopefully your vision will have improved.

Sorry to hear about the problems and pain you were/are in. I will pray that you make a fast recovery and that the pain subsides quickly.
