Default "If you want it, here it is come and get it, make your mind up fast"

LOL_Those are the lyrics to the new cheesy GMC Car commercial that's been playing all week and all day today.

That's "Come And Get It," written in 1969 by Paul McCartney for the band Badfinger.

Yes,it is.And the song in its original full-length version is very good. Here are the rest of the lyrics to the song:"Did I hear you say that there must be a catch. Will you walk away from a fool and his money..Sonny.."And if you think THAT's a cheesy commercial, the song they use in an even cheesier Luv's diaper(!)commercial,is the Beatles'l classic "All You Need Is Love"And I admit. The GMC truck ad IS cheesy.

Yeah they were. Back when bands were something. Back when music was great. What happened to bands?

Gosh, I don't know. I think it must have something to do with the music industry operates today. Music today seems so manufactured and phoney. One group or style hits big, then all the music people try to duplicate that same sound, so everything all winds up sounding the same. And the poor little bands out there never get a chance. If anyone out there wants to get a little nostalgic, here are links to some Badfinger classics. Such an amazing group!

You have to understand, that conversations evolve. It is not against the rules, nor is it out of line. If you don't like the conversation, stay away.
