N@N has confused the hell out of me tonight, the opening credits for George Lopez and - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Home Improvement are SHORTER than the frsh Prince Opening credits but N@N makes a decision to shorten the opening credits of those shows and NOT FRESH PRINCE?????

FP opening credits is like 3 min long and they make the opening credits to those shows shorter?-lol The people at N@N has finally gone crazy

How did they shorten Home Improvement? it is like 20 seconds long and every second shows a cast member so it is necessary

Ok well I noticed the difference in the GL opening and I just feel they can shorten the long a$$ FP opening that makes me feel like I'm watching a music video

I noticed that too, with Home Improvement. The original credits were really cool for Home Improvement, about 40 seconds, and NAN decides to remove all the cool parts, not even credit the 3 boys, and make it 20 seconds, where as they keep the Fresh Prince credits 2 minutes. I don't get it either. As much as they show FP, you'd think they would have shortened the credits already.

SO N@N did shorten the HI opening right? I knew it was a lot fastee in the past couple of days.

yeah, they shortened all 3 versions of it, which is a shame, because HI had one of my favorite openings, without edits. FP had one of the most irritable credits IMO, especially after hearing it 10 times a night

Espcially when they air episode after episode of it. I was enjoying FP only being on a few times a night. Now they're bringing back the marathons, giving it extra airings nightly . . . I just don't get why this show continues to be popular.

I know why the show is popular but the opening needs to be CHOPPED badly and only heard on DVD

I haven't even touched my FP DVD's in quite awhile. I seriusly am considering selling them soon . . . they're doing nothing but taking up shelf room and collecting dust.

Why is FP so popular? I know it may have to do with kids watching the show, plus new viewers tuning in every day to see it, but still, it surprises me as to how popular the show has been on the network for 3 years straight.

A show that you can just fall back and relax and laugh because it's not too serious and not too silly.

I can't stand FP anymore, so I haven't bothered to see how the opening theme is.

TBS shortened the FP theme? How so?

I did watch the opening theme to HI last night and it was indeed very edited. I didn't pay attention to GL theme.

The theme for Roseanne was done very wisely. Roseanne didn't want her theme edited or cut down, so she had a long camera shot done and it rotates in one smooth cut so there is no way it could be edited or cut like HI is. Very smart lady.
