Thumbs up

Nobody tuned in last week? There's been so much going on at Dunder Mifflin.

Pam and Jim are together, and out in the open! The fans finally got what they wanted. I hope the writers keep these 2 together for a while (being as how LONG we've waited for this). It would seem wrong if they broke them up after only a few weeks. My only concern is whether or not the writers can keep their relationship interesting. It was great when Michael hugged and kissed Jim, then knowing she's next, Pam turns and walks away.

I'm not liking the downfall of Dwight and Angela. I love them together...In the season premiere, Dwight put Angela's cat to 'sleep' in the freezer when he saw it was dying. This was a very Dwight thing to do, but I still felt bad for Angela. In this episode we had Dwight trying to rekindle their romance by getting "Garbage" as a "replacement cat" for the one he "destroyed." I loved Angela's "I don't want Garbage, I want Sprinkles!" There was something very funny about the camera angle when she was saying this too...At dinner, I expecting her to give them another shot. Unfortunately she didn't. The pitiful look on Dwight's face said it all.

I loved this dialogue:

Angela: "I'm sorry. I gave this everything I could."
Dwight: "No! Please don't do this monkey."
Angela: "I will leave your toothbrush on the top of your tire tomorow morning."

Creed gets more strange every time we see him. I liked his talk of "Red Bull", "Bro," "Dude," "Later Skater," etc. I don't think Michael will ever find the missing ink from the printer....

Michael and Dwight's quest to win back former clients with their gift baskets was a hilarious story. I'm still trying to get over Michael crashing into the lake! That was a classic moment. I loved all the awkward silence that was involved there.

Dear god, someone help Jan! In the premiere she was caught sleeping late (god forbid), now she returned to the office (in sports wear, mind you) to have lunch with Michael. Her interaction with Ryan was surprising. Hopefully she tries to get her job back. I'm curious to see where they're going to take her character this year.

And now for Ryan. I used to think Kelly's affection for "The Temp" was hilarious, yet annoying. Now I feel as though he's being an ass. Kelly coming in her hot dress was funny. I'm guessing she really thought she showed him with her "I've been dating lots of guys. Black guys mostly" line. The "pregnancy" was funny too...I love all the characters (except for maybe Andy), but he (Ryan) is really pushing his luck. I can't believe he tried to send Kelly off to India! And I understand wanting to make things in the office better, but he could have gone about it differently. I did however get a kick out of Michael and Phyllis trying to figure out how to type on the Blackberry's Ryan gave out.

Oh, and Ryan and Pam???
