I only got to see the first ten minutes of this episode ( ) however, seeing Brent dressed up like some leather man in a rock band and then Wanda looking like a cross between Madonna and a french maid... OMG, that was friggin' hilarious!!!!!

I found Wanda strangely sexy in white high heel booties and ankle sox (Probably the ONLY time id say "Wanda" and "sexy" in the same sentence )........Ah, if only the band had recruited Lacey, how I'd long to see HER in that outfit!

thats the season 1 finale...the one i told you about....the only time CG had a cliffhanger (It was written in such a way to be a kind of finish to the series if it wasnt renewed.....Brent Butt considered season 1 a summer job, he never expected the show to do so well! )

Davis is bent on finding out the truth when he goes to the concert.

Does Karen really play the drums?

Lacey and her desire to find out how Dog River came abt being named Dog River. And she finds out from Emma that it was Lacey's great-great uncle (great, only in the sense of geneology, other than that, he wasn't great LOL) who named Dog River because of the thousands of dogs he killed in the river.

Emma telling Lacey that kids in the town are high, bad kids, etc. and right after she says that, two kids find her wallet and return it to her. DAMN PUNK KIDS!!!!

Again, seeing Brent with those dark, sideburns and moustache... God, that is so damn funny.

My favorite lines on that show are when Davis auditions for the drummer job and says he played drums on a "Male bonding retreat" then, Karen wins the audition and Brent tells Davis "Well, good luck on that male BONDAGE thing!"

And the two teens ( pulled out of a 30s Andy Hardy movie,apparently ) come to see the concert and the boy says "This decibel level could be injurious..." and his little GF answers "Let's go somewhere fun, like the Library!!"

Yeah, that male bondage line was hilarious. Davis' face was utter shock. I love those quick witty lines.

And then when a jealous Davis shuts down the concert and when he takes Karen's drumsticks, she looks right at him and she utters "PIG", under her breath!!!!!

I think Karen really was playing the drums, but, Wanda was faking it......Brent Butt, we know plays the guitar cause hes the one who actually wrote that song in the first place, back with his band in college "Fast Exit" (Brent Butt is the actor, Brent Leroy is the character)
