Post Number One Priority

Alexz bonner quickly shut off her alarm clock and bit her bottom lip praying that no one had woken up.
Across the room, Rachel Stevens stirred and said, "I thought credit card machines went click-click, not beep-beep!" She rolled over and went back to whatever it was she was dreaming about.
Alexz climbed out of bed, fully dressed and snuck down the stairs to the living room where Mrs. Garrett was sleeping. She had heard many stories about Mrs. Garrett's keen sense of hearing, so she decided not to take her chances. At the foot of the stairs, she sat down and untied her shoes laces. "Better safe than sorry!" She thought.
With shoes in hand, Erica Alexzandra Marie Bonner snuck out of the front door, light brown ponytail bouncing as she went.
****************************************
Jo Bonner flopped over one more time and sighed a soundless sigh. She had had a strange feeling all night. She felt like something was wrong with Alexz.
She got out of bed, threw on her robe, and walked across the hall to her old room.
"I'm sure nothing's wrong," she thought. "It'll be like the first month after she was in the gang. I'll be worried."
She opened the door silently and surveyed the room that had been her home since her Langley days. "Time has flown by!" She thought back to the days when she thought a college education was impossible. "Huh! I showed them." She saw Rachel flip over and there was Alexz. "Buried under the blankets, just like Rick." With that thought, Jo closed the door and went back to bed.
****************************************
The crisp Autumn wind slapped against Alexz's cheek. She barely noticed the wind as much as the noise she was making when her tennis shoes crunched over the dead leaves. "Just as long as I don't get caught," she said in a whisper.
Suddenly, someone grabbed her from behind and pulled her behind a tree.
Her screams were muffled by the hand that was clamped tightly over her mouth.
"Shh!" A voice she didn't recognise said. "If you resist, you'll get hurt. Come wtih me." The hand led her to an old warehouse across the street. The other hand opened the door and they went in. The voice commanded, "Sit!" Alexz sat. "If I let you go, will you promise not to scream?" Alexz nodded and the hand let up.
She looked up to see a man towering above her. "This guys tall!" she thought. It surprised her. At 5'4" she didn't say that very much. She guessed that he was about 6' 9"
She felt her hands and feet being bound to a chair. "Go ahead! Tie me up!" She said aloud. "My parents will find you, and you'll be finished!"
The man looked down at Alexz and smiled. "Oh, young one. This is only the beginning!"
****************************************
Jordan Morgan sat up in bed and sighed.
Sara Robinson was sitting at the computer desk with her chin in her hands. The blue glow of the monitor refelcted off of her eyes.
"Sara, do you have to do that now?" Jordan asked exasperated.
Sara turned in her swivel chair. "I just got unblocked and I'm taking advantage of it!"
"Couldn't you just keep a pad of paper and a pencil on your nightstand? Even Alexz and Rachel agree with me on this!"
Rachel came through the door that conected their rooms. "Agree with you on what?" she yawned.
Sara turned back to the computer. "Oh well. I'm blocked again anyway. Save... close... shut down." She stood up and streched. "Now all we need is Alexz and food for a slumber party!"
Rachel sighed. "I'll get her" She walked slowly to Alexz's bed and gasped.
Jordan got out of bed. "What's wrong, Rach?"
Rachel's voice cracked in horror. "She's gone!"
****************************************
Alexz was getting bored. She finally asked, "Are you gonna leave or what?"
The man they called Carson sat up straight. "No!" He finally said.
Alexz exhaled sharply. She licked her lips and asked, "Why?"
Carson huffed indignantly. "Why should I tell you?"
Alexz's idea was to keep Carson busy by playing mind game with him while she struggled to untie her hands. She wasn't sure if this was a mind game, but it was working. "Oh, Carson... I can tell you want to tell me. Go ahead." She sighed as one hand became free.
Carson replied, "'Cause the boss'll be kickin' MY butt is somethin' happpens to you!"
The 12 year old beauty's eyes flashed as her other hand became free. "Carson... Carson... Go to sleep, huh?"
Carson nodded greatfully and quickly fell asleep.
****************************************
"We've gotta find her!" Rachel started pacing.
Sara suggested, "Let's go find her!"
Jordan's mouth fell open. "Now?!?"
"Sure go get dressed! All in black!"
Rachel stopped pacing. "What if we don't have anything black? It clashes with my eyes!"
Jordan and Sara gave Rachel that drop dead look.
Rachel nodded, "I'll find something!"
****************************************
Alexz was climbing up to an open winow. SHe didn't have any trouble because her arms, legs, and back had gotten used to climbing in and out of windows when she live in the Bornx. She paused to look down. If she fell, she'd fall about 11 feet. "Oh, well! I just won't fall."
Just then, her foot slipped on a loose brick and she fell. She didn't scream. She just cried out softly in pain when her head hit the floor. Then, there was only darkness.
****************************************
Rachel came out of the bathroom wearing a black t-shirt and black velour leggings that showed off her shapely calves. "I'm ready!" she called.
Sara said, "Shh! Hold this!" She handed Rachel a black back-pack.
Rachel too it and almost dropped it when she felt how heavy it was. "Sara! What do you have in here? Cement bricks?"
Sara smirked. "Provisions." She then turned back to the window that she and Jordan were stringing bed sheets out of.
Rachel unzipped the bag. "Hershey's? Reese's? Little Debbie? We'll be eating pure sugar!"
Sara gave Rachel a look that could kill. "What's wrong with that?"
Jordan laughed. "We got it! We're good to go!"
Sara clasped her hands together. "Rachel... you go first!"
Rachel stared in disbelief. "Why?"
"Because you're the youngest!"
"So? You're the oldest! You go first!"
"By 3 weeks!"
Jordan stepped in. "Cool it! I'll go first!"
With that, the slim African-American girl made her way across the floor and shimmied out of the window.
Sara sighed. "Rachel, you're next!'
Rachel whimpered and climbed out of the window.

Ok... that's about a chapter or two... I'll post more as soon as I have enough to call a chapter!
BTW, what do you think?

When Alexz woke up, the musty smell of the building filled her nostrils. She had a bad head ache. To her right, there was a brick wall. To her left, Rachel was lying there breathing hard.
"Oh my word!"
"What?" Alexz groaned.
"I broke a nail!"
Carson came through the door with Sara and Jordan on either side of him.
Carson spoke. "Have fun."
He then slammed the door and left them in darkness.
*****************************************
"Where could 4 12-year-old girls be?" Natalie Robinson sipped her coffee.
Jo sighed. "Alexz is with them. They could be anywhere."
Tootie stood uo. "Jo, can't we file a missing persons report?"
"Not yet. They would have to be missing for 48 hours or more."
Blair Warner was nearly hysterical. "Then what are we supposed to do? Sit around and hope nothing happens?"
"Blair! Relax! We'll notify the police." Under her breath she added, "and hope nothing happens."
*****************************************
"You know, it's times like these, I wish I wasn't so disgustingly beautiful."
"Rachel, shut up!" Alexz was getting tired of all of them. ESPECIALLY Rachel. SHe just kept moaning about how her kneck hurt, and her back hurt, and her feet hurt. Finally, she had threatened. "Rachel, if you don't shut up, I'm gonna loosen some teeth!" 'Just like Mom,' she thought. 'Mom...' she missed her mom. But she had a strange feeling that somehow, she would find her.
*****************************************
"Jo! Do something!" Blair screamed.
"What, Blair?"
Blair turned from the mirror to look at Jo. "I have a zit the size of Monte Carlo!"
Jo scoffed. "YOUR daughter is with MY daughter, and your worried about a ZIT?"
"Oh, yeah... Is Alexz potentially dangerous?"
"About as dangerous as I was when I first came to Eastland." Jo walked to her room.
She picked up the pin that she had recieved on her 13th birthday.
It was exquisetly detailed with gems. Jo whispered the color of the gems in order going clockwise. "Garnet, diamond, amethyst, diamond, aquamarine, diamond, emerald, diamond, pearl, diamond, ruby, diamond, peridot, diamond, sapphire, diamond, opal, diamond, topaz, diamond, and turquoise." The birthstone for every month. She had been diamond meaning 'innocence.' Yet, Alexz was ruby meaning 'contentment.' Jo had always thought that Alexz would never be content in the Bronx, yet Alexz never showed discontentment. She had made friends, gotten good grades at school. From the moment Alexz was born, Jo had waited in vain for her 13th birth day so Alexz could recieve the precious family heirloom. With that, Jo carefully wrapped the pin back in the soft cloth and shoved it in her handag that held her police badge, and gun.
In the living room, Rick tried to stop her from leaving.
Jo had replied, "Look, Blair's nearly hysterical. The police don't know my daughter OR what she's capable of. I do. I'm gonna tear this state up looking for them."

Sorry! I gotta go! Do you like it?
