Default Lucy and Viv Put up a TV Antenna

I was wondering if anyone is willing to trade or possibly sell a good copy (DVD or good VHS) of "Lucy and Viv Put up a TV Antenna."

If you're looking for Lucy-oriented stuff, I have it.

Right now, in my area, The Lucy Show is airing on METV. I can keep a look-out on a certain episode you want, or if you want to trade, I can trade for a Lucy series or any other series I have in my collection.

I have...

Every episode of "I Love Lucy" including the Christmas short "Jingle Bells."
The Lucy Show (public domain episodes and taped episodes from Nick at Nite via the 90's and WCIU in Chicago)
Here's Lucy (aside from boxed set, I have some taped episodes from PAX-TV)
Life With Lucy (Lucy's final sitcom)

I also have Lucy movies.

Fancy Pants
Mame
The Long, Long Trailer
Too Many Girls
Yours, Mine, and Ours

I also have a lot of "My Favorite Husband" episodes on both CD, audio cassette, and MP3's, as well as other Lucy radio appearances.

I also have more, but I can't think of them unless someone asks me.

Thanks

Jerry always cracks me up every time I hear "I don't remember when I've spent such a boring evening!"

i love the interaction on the roof.

Ethel: "Lucy promise me something. If this thing ever blows over again promise me you wont let anyone else but me help you put it up.

Lucy: "Oh!"

Ethel: (crawling along the roof to go back down she stops and looks in the whole lucy made above her bed room) Oh i should have made my bed this morning!

It was a great episode. Funny, the younger generation of today has no idea what a TV antenna even is...or WAS.

Some of them might get a clue, with the digital transition!

I have a copy of this episode, just normal in quality and by no means the best quality. Just recorded from TV. Do you still need it? Let me know. Do you have a first season episode, "Lucy's Sister comes to Visit" ?

Default Episode on DVD

Have I lost my mind? I could have sworn there was a sequence in this episode that showed Lucy making "funny faces" in a TV screen at the TV store, but on my "official 1st Season" DVD that scene is not there. Could I have imagined it? There are photos of it everywhere--like on the back of the DVD box--or during the opening credits of season 2. What gives?

From what I have been able to put together, that scene got cut before the episode originally aired. Not exactly sure why, it was probably due to time. It is ironic that the photo made it on the box though. It would be great if someone had an original vintage script to this episode to help verify. anyone? anyone?

That's what I've heard as well. And it doesn't play like there was an edit. The run time is 25:44, which is a normal run time for an unedited show from that time.

There were so many memorable moments in "Lucy And Viv Put Up A TV Antenna" ... however, I think they should have re-shot the scene in the living room. Jimmy Garrett just keeps picking at or scratching his butt.

Cool

I just watched this episode this morning! My favorite part was when they were all gathered around the piano for a "sing". All the songs Lucy and Viv suggested the kids didn't know. And the songs the kids suggested (do you know Ahab the Arab?) Lucy and Viv didn't know. The generation gap was alive and well in that household!

Lucy was so real, when she practically slapped Chris and said "is that what they teach you in school?"--her disgust was so evident

also great to see scenes cut out from the old Daytime/Nick prints!

I watched this episode last night and the scenes of Lucy and Viv on top of the house had me laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes. I told my mom about it today. Now she wants to see it.So I'm going to watch that episode again today with my mother.
Another episode that made me laugh real hard was "Lucy Is a Kangaroo for a day" Its no wonder that Lucille Ball is the Queen of Comedy. She was just so darn funny.
