Farrah Fawcett Seeks Alternative Medicines
Actress Farrah Fawcett is pursuing alternative medicines in Germany in her battle against cancer after suffering a relapse.
The Charlie's Angels star has taken advice from singing pal Cher and has traveled to Europe to seek alternative cancer treatments to treat the disease. Kathrin Collins, a spokeswoman for the 1970s television icon, says, "She is in Germany for therapy. She is getting informed about several treatment methods that would be possible for her." Fawcett is expected to undergo chemotherapy at Frankfurt University Hospital as well as using alternative treatments in a clinic in Bad Wiessee in the southern state of Bavaria. Fawcett had been declared cancer-free by her doctors in February after having a tumor removed in October last year. |
