Here's a more detailed description of episode 3.
Chuck and Kelly are getting on each other's last nerve on- and off-camera. But when Chuck's dinner date is called off, he runs into Kelly and Gracie having dinner at a restaurant near the station and awkwardly joins them for a meal. Chuck and Gracie hit it off and take a few stabs at Kelly while they're at it. Despite Kelly's disdain, she begins to think that having Chuck around might just be a good thing for Gracie. Back at the station, Marsh generously offers to help Gary create his own news anchor promo reel after his first attempt at a highlights video does not turn out quite the way he had hoped it. Meanwhile, Montana is distraught over her broken relationship, which she learned about on-air, and Ryan has to hide his infatuation for her and collect herself in time for the night's broadcast. |

According to me the issue with back to you is that when it was first announced everyone set different expectations about the show and how it should be like. Workplace comedy vs coworkers with a past and a family situation. Well, apparently it's writers had a different concept, they merged the two situations . I say, take a step back and try to enjoy the show, let them do their job and see how they will develop the show before we jump to deciding how the show should be like. Also, the fact that they bought that New tek production system gives a heads up they they will focus a lot on the news. That will finally make a lot of people happy ...p.s. Thanks Janice

I don't know if I should post this here so forgive me if I shouldn't.
Here's what TV Guide's Matt Roush said about BTY's second episode: Prior to the premiere: Back to Wednesday, and to a recommendation for those who’d like something to laugh with, as opposed to at: the second episode of Fox’s Back to You improves on the first, with several running gags that remind us how much we’ve missed the sort of physical and farcical humor that used to a staple of the sitcom format. In the 8 pm/ET hour, that’s my top pick. Post premiere: (For me, the funniest comedy program of last week was the second episode of Fox's Back to You, with very broad farcical humor that actually reminded me of Frasier at times, though not yet quite on that rarefied level. I have nothing against goldfish, but every time one died, I had to laugh. And the taser gag: a scream.) |

Tonight's episode was enjoyable, The scene with Chuck and the Daughter at the dinner table making fun of Gracie which made her mad enough to leave the restarunt-LOL Then you had the scene with the Beefy News Director and weather girl which was very funny.
Let's just say I'm upset I didn't record tonight's episode |
