Scottish actress Ashley Jenson regrets signing a seven year contract for hit show Ugly Betty - because she is dreading raising a child in the U.S.

The 38-year-old - who plays stylist Christina McKinney in the hit show - recently signed a seven year contract with show producers, ABC.

But Jensen regrets the move, because she would prefer to start a family in the U.K.

She tells Closer magazine, "I wouldn't want my child to have an American accent, so that's a slight worry. And I do miss London."

Nice attitude sweetie. You have no problem working here but God forbid your child should sound like one of us.

I am surprised contracts are that long. There is no guarantee the show will go that long. It might but 7 years to be stuck in a contract. Also what is wrong with an american access. If she feels that way why come to United States to work.
