Danny Ainge And Larry Bird Are Terrible General Managers - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Danny gave away half the Celtics players to get Kevin Garnett and now the Celtics don't have that many bench players LOL. The Celtics aren't gonna get far in the playoffs this year. Just watch. The Celtics fans are expecting big things from them now that Kevin and Ray Allen are on the team but i don't think they're gonna do very well because Kevin, Ray, Paul Pierce wanna shoot the ball too much and that's not gonna help them get a lot of wins. Ray and Paul aren't good defenders either. Kevin is a decent defender. He should get more blocked shots since he's tall. Larry Bird traded Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington to the Warriors for Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Ike Diogu LOL. Look at the success the Warriors had when Stephen and Al came there last season and look at how terrible the Pacers played when that trade happened. Ron Artest was also a big key to the Pacers doing well when he was there with Stephen and Al. I know Ron has some serious issues but he's a good player and Indiana is gonna miss him. I feel bad for Jermaine O Neal because he doesn't have that many good teammates and now he wants to be traded. I can't blame him for that. He's been in Indiana a long time and they haven't gotten far in the playoffs in awhile.

Isiah Thomas is also a terrible general manager. Look at how he messed up the Knicks with all the bad decisions he's made. He was a decent general manager with Toronto because he drafted Tracy McGrady and Damon Stoudamire. My point is that these guys were good players when they played but they're terrible at their jobs for NBA teams. Michael Jordan has also been called a terrible general manager because when he worked for the Wizards, he drafted Kwame Brown LOL. Ya'll see how terrible Kwame is. Now Michael has a 2nd chance with Charlotte and i'll see how he does there. Charlotte just got Jason Richardson from the Warriors in the offseason so i'll see if Charlotte improves this year. Jason is very good but Charlotte still needs some better players besides him, Gerald Wallace, Emeka Okafor.

You're wrong about the Celtics. Pierce, KG, and Allen are all aging superstars who haven't won. You really think they're going to be concerned about getting to shoot the ball a lot? KG didn't want to shoot the ball all the time even when he was on some crappy Wolves teams, and that won't be his goal in Boston. Now, they really don't have a great bench, but I think they can balance it out right so that at least 1 if not 2 of the big 3 can be out on the floor at all times without getting them overly worked.

Yea I agree about Bird. They need more talent on that Indiana team. 3 or 4 years ago they were in the Conf. Finals against Detriot now look at them they just straight suck. Bird needs to get some talent in their quick. Plus they have been out of control off the field as well. They either need to build around Jermaine or re build and trade Jermaine for some good young talent. I think although Tinsley is a good player when he's healthy he really sucks when he's injured. Tinsley is very injury prone they need to get rid of him. They should have went after smush parker this off season but they missed their chance.

LOL@Smush Parker hahahahahahahahahahahaha. He sucks. I'm surprised Miami signed him. Some guy on Indiana's team recently got arrested and Larry Bird said he was very upset about that. Indiana got some thugs on the team LOL. Marquis Daniels is a thug also because when Stephen Jackson played with Indiana, him, Marquis and another Indiana player got into a fight at a strip club and Stephen pulled out a gun and started shooting. He didn't kill anybody and he better be glad he didn't or else he would be in prison now. I've never understood why pro athletes hang out at strip clubs and it's always the black athletes that hang out at the strip clubs and end up getting in trouble with the police. Marquis didn't get in any trouble when he was with Dallas. He needs to watch the teammates that he hangs with because they can get him in trouble.

Chris Mullin who used to play for the Golden State Warriors is now the Warriors general manager and he's terrible also because he traded Jason Richardson to Charlotte for a first round draft pick this offseason. I don't understand why he did that because the Warriors had a very good season last year and Jason was a big part of their success. Jason was also loved by the Warriors fans because of his exciting dunks. I'm sure Jason is very upset about being traded because the Warriors could've had some more success in the near future if he would've stayed there. Charlotte isn't going to the playoffs for a long time and i'm sure at this point in Jason's career, he doesn't wanna start over again on a losing team.

I did not know why they did that! Damn Baron does the scoring who'll help him out. I think they have a lot of faith in Monta Ellis. But lets just see how Brandan Wright (the guy J-rich was traded for) does before we judge this move.
