I'm started to wonder now because before nfl countdown went off yesterday, he started saying go phillies. So Is there an accurate biography for him online or have you heard of him growing up in philly? Two idiots at my job said he is from northeast philly

Christopher ("Boomer") James Berman (born May 10, 1955, in Greenwich, Connecticut) is a sportscaster, who anchors SportsCenter, Monday Night Countdown, Sunday NFL Countdown, Baseball Tonight, U.S. Open golf, and other programming on ESPN. He joined ESPN a month after its founding and has been with the network since. He is well known for his various catch-phrases. Berman also goes by his alter ego, "The Swami," when making prognostications on Sunday NFL Countdown. He is the new host of Monday Night Countdown, replacing previous host Stuart Scott. He also has appeared on ESPN football video games.

as far as I know Solomon, he was born in CT & i do believe he spent most of his childhood on the west coast in Frisco.

yeah I'm trying to figure out where he grew up because that go phiiles statement has me really wondering was he raised in the city of brotherly love
