Default Back to You Episode 2: "Fish Story" (SPOILERS!!!)

Next week's episode:

Kelly doesn't believe that Chuck has a good sense of caretaking and responsibility that would be necessary to take care of a child. So, when Chuck is given a goldfish as a pet, he's determined on having the goldfish keep up an illusion of being happy - and alive. To do this, he gets the help of the news director Ryan

Just an FYI to people who live on the West Coast or Tivo the show for another day...

AVOID THIS THREAD until you actually see it.

It isn't fair for others not to discuss the show until late or another day.

What you could do is have everybody write in spoiler tags ...

Spoiler: (Highlight this box to see the hidden message.)
Chuck does something funny ...

all you do is type [ SPOILER ] stuff [/ SPOILER ] without the spaces in between the brackets.

They could be removed afterwards, but they wouldn't need to be ...

I hear what you are saying, but that is a little unfair for people who watched the show to put everything in spoiler tags. I really think the best thing to do is avoid posting until you actually see the episode.

Not giving any spoilers or anything, doesn't sound like the greatest episode to be airing. Especially at this point, where BTY will be beginning to get a fanbase. They should have stuck with the newsroom for the second episode . . .

I agree. That's what I thought to myself too. Hopefully, there is still a lot of newsroom activity.

That's right. A "Spoiler" warning in the thread title is sufficient. Message boards are for members to discuss shows that have aired. If I haven't watched a show, I don't go to that forum. It's not fair for people in different times zones to expect others to wait until they've seen the show to discuss it.

I was looking forward to discussing the first episode. I went to the thread, and I saw a post from someone on the West Coast telling others not to post certain things. I made a see you later post , and found another message board, and and posted away and had some fun. I didn't sit around and wait for three hours.

I totally agree. Their's no reason for members who have seen the episode to not talk about the show after it's been aired. I might not actually watch the show until Thursday once all the other programs premiere and it isn't right for others not to have fun discussing it. I just won't come into the thread. until later. I don't think using the spoiler tag is appropriate either. That's supposed to be used like once in awhile...not for the whole thread. Members have to have self control to stay away or it's their own fault.

I don't really mind....I guess because I don't care if it's a newsroom comedy, a romantic comedy or a family comedy. I just want it to be funny.

Great point! I'm with you, although I was looking forward to a newsroom comedy.

I agree with you. The show is funny, we all know that, so I could care less what happens. But, for people like Solomon, who hated the idea of the seriousness, it isn't the best episode to be airing.

Personally, I don't know how this'll be. I think it needs a good and fair mix of newsroom and family/home comedy. Just newsroom is kind of a bad balance in a way. They should do both. Have a newsroom scene, have a family scene, newsroom, family, etc. etc. etc. if you catch my drift.

I actually agree with that statement. It should have a nice balance of both.
