Buffyboy323, I really enjoyed your threads on the top 10's from the 70s & 80s.

And I searched this forum, I didn't see anything in a similar vein on the 50s...and I thought this might be fun too. Thanks for the great idea!

I didn't make a 1950's or 1960's thread because I wasn't sure how much love they would get (and quite frankly, I'm not too much of a fan of those decades). I know there's A LOT of classic TV fans here, but I also know that the 1970's and 1980's are the more popular decades here at SO. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the topic and decided to expand on it.

There's only 2 shows from the 1950's that I loved:

1. The Honeymooners (1 of my top 10 shows ever)
2. I Love Lucy

This is definitely the decade I've seen the least amount of shows from, I couldn't field a complete top 10.

The only ones from that era I'm familiar with are Lucy and Beaver - but I am looking forward to watching the DVDs of Donna Reed and Mr. Peepers.
