[Back In The Living Room After Nat's Mom Punches Out Steve]

Natalie: Mom, how could you do this? You've gone crazy.
Natalie's Mom: I do not want you dating a guy who's 4 or 5 years older then you.
Natalie: But I like Steve, he's really really nice. Steve, are you ok?
Steve: There's no place like home...Where's my dog To-To?
Natalie: See what you've done? He's going crazy now. He thinks he's Dorothy from The Wizard Of Oz.
Natalie's Mom: Maybe we should have a talk honey.
Natalie: No mom, I don't want a talk. I bet that if my real mom was here, she would say that it was ok.

[Natalie walks out of the room]

Mrs. G: I couldn't help overhearing what you 2.. or should I say 3 were chatting about.
Steve: Auntie Em, Auntie Em!
Mrs, G: You know Evie, Natalie is just growing up. She wants to be with someone like Steve, because they have so much in common.
Nat's Mom: Yeah, Steve is a 17-year old muscleman, and Natalie is a 13-year old innocent girl.
Mrs. G: But Evie, you need to understand what Nat is going though...a small case of puppy love.
Nat's Mom: I still do not want my child to be dating a boy 4 or 5 years old then her.
Mrs. G: Why not let Nat have a date with Steve? Her first date should be her best. Make it worth while for her. I hope that you didn't come up here to stop Natalie from going out on a date..did you?
Nat's Mom: Edna, you've made things clearer. Thankyou so much. I just hope that Natalie will forgive me.
Mrs. G: I get her...NATALIE!!!!!!!!!!
Natalie: What is it, I'm coming. Mom, what do you want?
Nat's Mom: I just relized how much you've grown, and matured.
Natalie: Oh, does that mean I can go steady with Steve???
Nat's Mom: STEADY???

[Nat's Mom faints]

Natalie: I guess that I shouldn't have mentioned it.
Steve: Oh Hi Natalie, I was hoping I wouldn't bump into you. I came here to cancel are date, my Aunt is in the hospital and needs me.
Natalie: Then why didn't you just call me?
Steve: Oh, I had to drop off some oranges, apples, fruit bars, and some other stuff.
Natalie: Oh.
Steve: Natalie, would you like to go see a movie tomorrow night? How about "The Three Stooges In Space"?
Natalie: That sounds great!
Mrs. G: Natalie, how come your mother isn't waking up?
Natalie: I don't know, what's wrong?
Mrs. G: Natalie, I don't think that she's breathing.
