As a youngster I loved his voice-overs on Hong Kong Phooey, Harlem Globetrotters, and Jazz (from the Transformers) long before I was able to put a face to the voice.

When was The Journey of Natty Gan made,because in addition to Jack Albertson(Ed),Freddie Prinze(Chico),Scatman Crothers(Louie)I believe,is dead.And you're right.He had a good singing voice.

yes benjamin scatman crothers is gone as well, what a reunion that must have been

he passed away nov 26 1986

i'm not sure when the natty gann movie was made thought but i believe it may have been his last role??? if i'm mistaken someone let me know
