AGAIN I NEED STRANGERS TO ANSWER FOR A SCHOOL PROJECT: AND Each story has a question at the beginning of the story to answer (after you read).

STORY ELEVEN: Lets say you are at a going away party, however, you do not like the cake and you take a slice and put it down on the table and one of your friends says to you "eat your piece it is going to melt” and you say “I don’t want it” and then the person responds “You are on a diet!. MY QUESTION: Would you take it to mean they thought you had to lose weight or would you think it was just a passing comment and meant nothing?

STORY TWELVE: My friend Yvonne is skinny, size 6, Joan (her sister) and mom are heavy. Yesterday Yvonne's mom went over to Joan's house. Then at night when Yvonne came home the mom said Joan sent over two tee shirts for you and I want you to see the coat she gave me When the mom was trying on the coat Yvonne said "Mom what made Joan give me these two tee shirts" The mom replied "Joan had a shopping bag of clothes (blouses, tee shirts) and said this bag is for you and Yvonne". Yvonne got upset at that because she doesn't mind getting tee shirts from her sister but anything else would be double digit sizes. So Yvonne said "Are you saying Joan is giving me blouses" and the mom replied "Tee shirts for you, blouses and coats for me," Later on her mother said "You read into everything. MY QUESTION: IF you were Yvonne how would you have interpreted the entire conversation?

STORY THIRTEEN: My friend Virginia is skinny and everyone tells her so. One day Sally saw Virginias arms exposed and said "Virginia you are so skinny, you need to eat". Then for about two days Sally kept saying the same thing to Virginia. And one of the times Virginia said this to Sally, Phyllis was nearby and looked at Virginia and asked Virginia "Do you ever eat, do you eat lunch". Virginia later on asked another coworker who witnessed the conversation are they saying if they look at me I don't look skinny?" Her coworker said "NO that isnt want they are saying. What they are saying is you look skinny but when they see your skin exposed they realize how skinny you are. MY QUESTION: Do you agree with Virginia coworker

STORY FOURTEEN: The two players are Patricia and Betty. Betty always wears long wide skirts. Patricia and Betty were having lunch. Patricia told Betty she had a dream about a rock band that she and Betty love. The dream was as follows: Patricia and Betty were on a double date with John and Steve (two of the male rock stars). Patricia was with John and Betty was with Steve. Steve said I only like girls with plump legs and Patricia replied Betty has plumb legs. END OF DREAM. This dream got Betty upset and she asked Patricia are you saying my legs are plump. Patricia said no I have never seen your legs. It was only a dream. MY QUESTION: Can Betty accept the fact that Patricia does not think Betty has plump legs and it was only a dream.
