Are they continuing the DVD sets? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I recently got season one, and my girlfriend and I watched the entire thing in a matter of days. Absolutely love it. Its great to see an awesome show based in my home city. Kind of a bummer I wasnt old enough to catch it the first time....

Anyhow, are they continuing with more? I really hope so, I need it!

Welcome aboard, Sam! Unfortunately, as long as THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW and THE BOB NEWHART SHOW discs remain in limbo, WKRP most likely will as well. Bottom line is that music rights issues aside, WKRP Season Two is probably going to take a while to be released.

let's just hope that if or when they DO release it, they do a better job with it!

I hope they do release a second season of WKRP myself. Especially being that for some unknown reason, they aren't showing all the episodes on the AmericanLife network. They keep skipping over the best ones as a matter of fact. They didn't even show the tornado episode, which was one of the best they ever did on there in my opinion. I wish they would have a special marathon or something and show the ones they're skipping.

A season 2 DVD set for WKRP was offered in this year's Sears Wishbook but I haven't been able to find any information on it anywhere else.
