1st fanfic please read....it's a Reunion one

~Hey Everyone this is my first fanfic so I don’t know how it turned out, let me
know though, I’d really appreciate it~

Reunion:

Jo and Rick are sleeping next to each other on the plane on their way to Mrs.
Garrett’s new house. Nikki and Chris were sitting behind them on the plane.
They were sitting first class because Rick is a successful musician now, and Jo
is a school teacher.
Rick wakes up and realizes were he is)Oh thank god! (He looks over and see
Jo sleeping on his shoulder next to him, he smiles to himself and realizes how
good his life is)
Flight Attendant: Excuse me sir, we will be landing very shortly you might want to
wake your wife up!
Rick: Sure, and thank you.
Flight Attendant: No Problem (Moves towards another row, and tells the rest of
the people)
Rick Kisses Jo lightly on her forehead, and Jo stirs but doesn’t wake up)
Sweetie time to get up we’re almost there!
Jo: What, huh? (sees Rick and realizes where she is) Oh hey Hunny I forgot
where I was for a second!
Rick: Did you sleep good?
Jo: Yes, Very, I was close to you!
Rick: Aww thanks, Sweetie!
Jo: How are you kids, were they good?
Rick: I don’t know I was sleeping as well as you! I hope they were good!
(Both Rick and Jo turn around too see what their kids are up to. To their surprise
they see both of the sleeping peaceful.)
Jo Turns around) Hey Nikki, and Chris time to get up, we’re almost there!
Nikki and Chris: Aight!
(The Plane finally lands, for what seems like ever to Jo, but is really only a
matter of minutes)
(Go to Blair now)(Blair owns Eastland, so she’s not to far away for Mrs.
Garrett)(Blair got married but then later got a divorce because her husband
constantly cheated on her, and wasn’t nice to her or her daughter)(Blair’s
daughter’s name is Alissa)(They’re in the car)
Blair: Alissa, wake up!
Alissa: 5 more minutes
Blair: No, you have to get up now hun we’re almost there!
Alissa: Alright, Alright I’m up!
Blair: Good good!
Alissa: Are you nervous or something, cause you seem a little jumpy!
Blair: Yeah I’m a little nervous, I haven’t seen these people in 20 years, they’re
my best friends, and yeah I’m actually really nervous!
Alissa: Oh I see mom, I can’t wait to meet Tootie, Nat, and Jo, and Mrs. Garrett!
But don’t worry you’ll be fine, I mean what’s there to be nervous about you’re
really nice and just don’t worry!!
Blair: Ohhh thanks hun!!! I won’t worry!

(Go to Natalie and Tootie who are already at Mrs. Garrett’s new house. Tootie‘s
there with her husband Jeff and her son Connor. Natalie’s there with her
husband Snake, and their daughter Carrie)
Nat: I’m so excited I want Jo and Blair to meet my daughter!
Tootie: Yeah me too, I want them to meet my son!
Mrs. Garrett: I’m so excited I just want to see them again! Blair should be getting
here any minute, but Jo’s plane should be landing soon, and then the drive here
should be about 1/2 hour! I’m so excited!!!
(Blair’s car, pulls up in the driveway, and her and Alissa get out)
Blair: Now Alissa be on your best behavior, I haven’t seen these people in a long
time, and I want to make a good impression!
Alissa: Mom I won’t don’t worry, everything will be fine!
Blair: thanks hun (kisses Alissa on her forehead) (Blair knocks on the door)
Mrs. Garrett: I’ll get it! (she runs to the door)Blair!!!!! Hi
Blair: Mrs. Garrett (they hug)
Blair: Tootie!! Natalie!!
Toot+Nat: Blair!! They also hug
Blair: Who might all these people be?
Natalie: This is Snake you remember him! And this is my daughter Carrie, she’s
14!
Blair: Of course, long time no see snake! And I’m pleased to meet you Carrie, I
know your mother so well, back when we were your age! Can you believe that?
Carrie: Hardly!(All Laugh)
Tootie: And this is Jeff, you remember him, and this is my son Connor he’s 16!
Blair: Hello Jeff! Pleased to meet you Connor!
Connor: The pleasure is all mine!
Blair: What nice manners!(All Laugh)
(They hear a knock at the door)
Mrs. Garrett: I’ll get it!( She opens up the door, and there Jo is with Rick, Nikki,
and Chris) Why Hello Jo!
Jo: Hi Mrs. G!!(they hug)She goes and Hug Natalie, Tootie, and then Blair! Oh
it’s so good to see you all again! I can’t believe it’s been 20 years!
All: Oh I know!
Jo: Well I’ll do the introductions! You all remember Rick right!
All: Yeah
Rick: Heyyy!
Jo: And these are my 2 kids Nikki, and Chris, they’re twins! They’re both 15
going to be 16 very soon!
(Natalie, and Tootie both do their introduction again like they did with Blair)
Mrs. Garrett: It’s so great to have all my girls in the same room again!
All Girls: Yeah we know, it’s great to see you too!
Mrs. Garrett: You guys all want to go out to dinner!
All: Yeah!
Mrs. Garrett: Alright let’s go! (They all go in their separate cars, and they meet at
the restaurant)(They go in and they get seated)(There’s a kids table and a Adult
table)(Jo, and Rick sit next to each other, and Blair sits next to Jo, and Mrs. G
sits next to Blair, and Tootie, and Jeff are next to Mrs.G, and Natalie, and Snake,
are next to Tootie, and Jeff) (At the kids table Nikki, and Chris sat next to each
other, with Alissa next to Chris, and Connor next to Alissa, and Carrie next to
Connor)
Mrs. Garrett: I’m so glad to see you all, I’ve missed you all so much!
All: Yeah, we missed you too!!
Waiter: Does everyone know what they’re ordering?
All: Yes (waiter goes and takes everyone’s order)
Mrs. Garrett: So Natalie you were telling me before that you had some big news
for all of us?
Natalie: Yes, it is very good news (Looks at Snake, with hopeful eyes) Alright!
Well I wasn’t feeling well the other day, and I went to the doctor, and I found out
that I’m Pregnant!
All: Oh My God!!! Congrats!!!
Natalie: Thanks....thank you!!!
Snake: We’re very excited.....another kid......I can’t wait!
Tootie: I also have new, I’m producing a new movie, and the movie takes place
in Eastland!! So we’re going to be using our old room, and the movie is going to
be based on character that were like all of us!
Jo: Wow, that’s awesome!
Blair: I wonder who will play me??(Everyone laughs) Better be someone good!
Natalie: Congrats Buddy!
Tootie: Thank you!! I’m so excited!
Mrs. Garrett: Well I also have an announcement to also make. (Has a sad look
on her face)
All: Yeah what is it??
Mrs. Garrett: Well you know how I told you all that Bruce isn’t here cause he’s
away on a business trip......
All: Yeah
Mrs. Garrett: Well he’s not really on a business trip.....the truth is that.....(gets all
chocked up) He’s actually dead......(Silence).....I miss him....I miss him so
much......I’ve got a lot better, well actually a lot better! I was a wreck......I mean it
was so hard loosing someone that I love as much as I loved him. He’ll always
have a place in my heart, and that part on my heart was empty before all you
girls came here. Now it’s filled cause I know what I was missing for 20 years
when I didn’t get to see you. Even if it’s not a long time, I still get to see you all
again!
All: (All the girls are crying even Rick, and Jeff are chocked up, Snake is trying
not to show it, but his eyes are teary eyed)( All the kids are also crying as well,
not as hard as their mothers though)
Mrs. Garrett: I’m sorry to make all of you sad after such great news from
everyone had......I just felt I needed to get it out in the open. If you know what I
mean.
All: Yeah we do (they all get up and each of them hug her)(Everyone stops
crying by this point but are still teary eyed, what Mrs. Garrett told them finally hit
them as they sat there a thought about what was said) (Jo and Rick were sitting
there, they were holding each others hands at this point, and they’re looking into
each others eyes. Rick mouths the words I love you to Jo, and she mouths it
back and a tear falls from her face. Rick quickly clears it away with his
finger)(Natalie and Snake, are talking quietly to each other)
Natalie: I can’t believe this happened to her, I mean I always thought her and
Bruce would live happily ever after but no........man I can’t take things for
granted.
Snake: Don’t worry it’ll all be ok, I’m here for you and I always will be!!(He smiles
at her, and she smiles back)
Blair looks at Mrs. G and gives her a comforting smile (All the kids are sitting at
the table, not really knowing how to take this in, and not knowing what they
should be feeling like or what to do)
Nikki Wiping her face) Chris.....I hope mom is taking this well, I know this must
be hard on her! You know how she gets, and she never cries, and look at her,
she’s over there bawling her eyes out!
Chris: Nikki I know, I know, this is what we’re going to do, we’re going to
cooperate with whatever dad, and mom tell us what do to, we’re not going to
argue, and we’ll just be there whenever she needs us.
Nikki: I can agree to that!
Chris: Good
(At the same time they’re discussing this, Connors, and Carrie go over to their
parents, and see if they’re ok)
Carrie: Mom, are you alright?
Natalie: Yeah hun I’m fine! Well I’m not really fine, but I know I will be! Thanks!
Carrie: Anything for you mom! (Natalie is touched, and hugs her daughter)
(Connor goes over to his parents) I love you (they hug)
Connor: Mom, are you alright, and whatever you need I’m here for you no matter
what! (they hug)
Tootie: Why thank you sweetie, you’re so thoughtful!
Connor: No Problem mom! I love you mom!
(Alissa gets up and goes over to her mom) (She thinks to herself, she hasn’t
seen her mom cry since her parents got a divorce, and at that those were tears
of joy)
Alissa: Mom, are you alright?
Blair: I am thanks for asking sweetie!
Alissa: I’m here for you! I love you (They hug)
(Nikki and Chris get up and go over to where their parents are)(Nikki gives Jo
and hug)
Nikki: Mom I know how you feel, I felt the same way when I lost Ashley, mom it
was so hard to try and get through life without my best friend in the world! But I
did it, and I know you can, you’re so strong mom! And I made it through every
night, know that there were people at my house that loved me. I just wanted to
tell you that I love you mom! You can always talk to me! (Jo got teary eyed
again, very touched with what her daughter has just told her)It’s ok to cry mom!
Chris: Mom I’m always here for you through tick and thin, and I also wanted to
tell you that I love you to!
Jo: Thank you both, you guys are great, and yes I love you too! (they hug each
other)
Rick: We raised such Great kids!!
Jo: Yeah we sure did.
(The rest of the dinner wasn’t really eaten in silence but there was little
talk)(They pay for the dinner, and are all headed towards their cars) (Tootie,
Jeff, and Connor are in one car. Natalie Snake, and Carrie are in another car.
Blair, Mrs. G, and Alissa are in one car. And Jo, Rick, Nikki, and Chris are in
another car)
Rick: Jo hunny I forgot a toothbrush can we stop at the store?
Jo: Sure......Mrs. G we’ll meet you there......can you take Nikki, and Chris!
Blair: Sure Sure, no problem......see you in a few minutes!
(Nikki, and Chris go in Blair car)
(Natalie, Tootie, and Mrs. G, and their families arrive but there is no sign of Jo,
and Rick)
Mrs. G: Hmmm.......what do you think happened to them.
Blair: You know how she’s gotten more cautious as she got older, she’s probably
just driving slow.
Tootie: I guess so.
Natalie: I got a bad feeling about this.
Mrs. G: Me too, but oh well it can’t be anything to bad, they’ll be back soon
(2 hours later)(Phone rings)(Mrs. G runs towards it, and picks it up)
Mrs. G: Hello.....Hello!.....Yes this is she......what....what happened to Jo, and
Rick no that’s impossible!!! Sure I’ll be right down!
Nikki: What happened to my parents??
Mrs. G: They were in an accident they said they would tell us more information
when we got down there. (Nikki, and Chris get there coats and leave with Mrs.
G)
Natalie: I hope Jo, and Rick are ok! I don’t know what I would do if they weren’t.
Tootie: Yeah, I mean, not having Jo around, oh no, what are we going to do
Balir: Try and look on the bright side I mean say if there is something wrong with
her, we’re all here for her, and I know whatever it is she can pull through. Jo’s
never been a quiter!
Tootie: Oh Blair you always know what to say!
natalie: Yeah you do (All their husbands and kids come over to confort them, but
Alissa conforts Blair, because her husband isn’t there) (Go to car with Mrs. G,
Nikki, and Chris)

Mrs. G: I’ll drop you kids off in the front while I park the car.
Nikki: Alrighty, thanks again Mrs. G
Mrs. G: Anytime, I’m here for you guys to talk or whatever, I know what you’re
going through. (Nikki, and Chris run out of the car when Mrs. G pulls up the the
front of the hosptial)
Nikki: excuse me miss.....Excuse me!
Lady: yes...
Chris: Can you tell me what room, Rick, amd Jo Bonner are in?
Lady: let me check.........there is no one here listed under the names Jo or Rick
Chris: What there has to be I don’t understand........
Nikki: Well try Joanne for mom.....maybe dad’s(almost crys)
Lady: Oh yes there is a Joanne Bonner in......
Chris: Hurry Up!!!
Lady: Clam down.........9th Floor room 945 (The kids sprint away from the desk)
You’re Welcome...(they don’t say aything) Kids these days...so rude!
(they run right pass the elevator and right to the stairs) (they finally get there and
are out of breath but don’t relized they’re determined to see their mom)(they
can’t find the room they’re running frantically.....they finally find it)
Chris:Here it is, but go in quietly, there could be something wrong, or she could
be sleeping.
Nikki: Alright (they each walk into the room) (there’s no one there, so they both
start getting nervous, but they see their mothers chart, so they know they’re in
the right room)(they walk out of the room, and decide to wait in the waiting room,
being the the room just depresses them)(they’re sitting in the waiting
room.....mrs. G comes in)
Mrs. G: Any Luck
Chris: We found her room but dad or her weren’t there! What do you think is
wrong! (Nikki starts crying)
Mrs. G: It’ll be alright, (gives her a reasureing smile, and hugs her)9 Shortly after
they see ther father)
Chris and Nikki: Dad!
Rick: Hey kids, I missed you guys!
Nikki and Chris: We missed you too, where’s mom?? ( they don’’t even notice
the cast on Rick’s arm)
Rick: She’s getting back from x-rays
Nikki: Oh my god dad......are you alright??
Rick: I’m fine hunny, it’s your mother I’m worried about, she was hurt pretty bad
Chris: No this can’t be happening it just can’t be
Mrs. G: It’s alright Chris.....your mother will be fine, she’s one of the strongest is
no the strongest woman I know!Well besides me of course (Chris cracks a smile)
Rick: I see your mom she getting weeled in.
Nikki: Can we go and see her
Rick: let me check first
Kids: Alright (Rick goes into Jo’s room)(he comes out a few minutes later with a
sad look on his face)(Nikki and Chris automatically think to worse)
Chris: dad she’s not....you know
Rick: No she’s not, but she’s in a coma
Nikki: Noooooo!!!!(beings to cry)
Mrs. G: This can’t be happening........god don’t let me loose two people that I
love in my life.....you already took Bruce away from me. Don’t take Jo...PLEASE
Rick: you both can go in a see her if you want, but I just want to warn you now
that she’s really beaten up.
Chris: Dad what happened to your arm
Rick: Oh I just broke it in two places...you wanna go and see you mom now?
Kids: Yeah
Rick: Mrs. G, can you call the others, and tell them how Jo is doing.
Mrs. G: Sure
Rick: alright Nikki and Chris lets go(They fallow Rick into Jo’s Room)
Nikki puts her hand over her mouth, not able to believe what her mother looks
like)(Chris is staying strong for Nikki, you can tell that’s he’s upset though) I can’t
believe that’s mom....my mom...that’s not her! She doesn’t look like that!(Crys)
Rick: I’m sorry you have to see it sweetie(Hugs her while she crys)(Chris just
stands there and takes it all in, and it finally hits him)9he just starts crying) It’ll be
ok Chris!
Chris: how do you know that.....you don’t......I can’t loose her!
Rick: You won’t trust me(hugs Chris)
(While this is happening Mrs. g is calling home)
Mrs. G: Hello....Blair.......yeah it’s Mrs. G......I’m at the hospital....Jo’s not doing to
good she’s in a coma......yeah I know I’m scared for her too......you guys will
come donw here tomorrow morning....sure sure....I’ll be hom eina like an
hour........yeah i’ll probably be taking Nikki and Chris home.....yeah they can
sleep in the guest bed room......sure I’ll see you in a little while....no don’t come
here you won’t be able t see her anyway visiting hours are almost over....alrighty
I’ll see you when I get home...bye(Mrs. G hangs up the phone and goes towards
Jo’s Room, but doesn’t go in just stands by the door)
Rick: Kids it’ll be alright, just tell her what you want to cause you’ll have to go
home soon
Nikki: I’m not leaving her
Chris: me either
Rick: You have too no kids can stay......please....I want to spend the night here
alone with you mother
Chris and Nikki: Fine....I guess
Chris: (walks up to the bed)Hey mom it’s me Chris......I don’t know what to say
to you.....just that you have to pull through....you just have too.....I don’t
know...what....just you haev to make it....please for me and Nikki! well I don’t
know what else to say....I really miss you and I love you.(gives her a quick kiss)
Nikki walks up to the bed) Hey mom it’s me Nikki......what I’m going to say is
going to be just about what Chris said.....you have to make it....mom you just
have too.....who am I going to talk about my boy problems too......and all of the
other stuff that makes us so close.......mom I..I...I need you....well I don’t know
what else to say......accept I really need you....please pull through(walks up and
gives Jo a kiss on her forehead)Please Please get better mom!I love You(Starts
to cry again)( walks away)
Rick: Come here Mrs. G....you can talk to her now
mrs. G: Alright.....um...hey Jo’s it’s me...Mrs. G.....I want you to get
better......really better, and make it quickly....I don’t think I could deal with loosing
two people in my lives that I love and care about as much as you and
Bruce.....please pull through.......I love you as if you were my own
daughter....and I always want you to know that........(walks away cause she’s
crying)
(After everyone stops crying)
Rick: Mrs. G can you take Nikki and Chris home now
Mrs G: Sure come on kids lets go
Nikki: Alright tell us if there’s any change on her, call us right away!
Rick: I will don’t worry
Chris: Alrigt bye dad feel better
Rick: Thanks, bye kids! and Mrs. G
All: Bye (After they all leave...Rick goes into Jo’s room, and pulls a chair right up
to her bed)

Rick: Jo, Sweetheart.....I know you can hear me...and I’m telling you there’s no
doubt in my mind that you’re going to make it. You’re the strongest woman I’ve
ever met....even stronger that my mother! Well anyway, I know that you’re going
to pull through....I just know it....cause God wouldn’t do this to me....he wouldn’t
take away the woman I love and my best friend....and he wouldn’t take my
soulmate away from me! That would not be able to happen I know it.......I just
know it.......you’re going to pull through.....I know you willl Sweetie! I love you
with all my heart hunny, and I’m really sorry cause this is all my fault.......you’ll
get better, and I won’t leave your side until you’re better! I love you Jo, I know
you can’t say it back, but I can feel you telling me that you love me back! Good
Nite Hunny (Rick is in tears at this point, but tears of joy cause he knows that Jo
will make it)(he takes Jo’s hand in his, and falls asleep holding her hand close to
him)(Rick wakes up spractically through the night, but he knows the only thing
that will get him to sleep, so he gets up out of the chair, and climbs into the
hospital bed with her)(6 am comes around....the nurse checks in on Jo) (She
sees Rick in the bed with Jo, and jsut smiles to herself.....checks her chart, and
makes sure everything it alright, to her suprise jo is doing a lot better)( as she’s
leaving she hits into the chair, and Rick stirs)
Nurse: I’m sorry sir I didn’t mean to wake you
Rick; it’s alright, I was planning on getting up soon anyway I wanna be here and
awake when she wake sup
Nurse: Oh that’s so sweet, well good luck, she’s doing a lot better, she could
wake up anytime soon, ranging from today to a few months from now it’s really
hard to tell these things
Rick: I see, thank you again for waking me up (the nurse smiles back and then
leaves the room)(Rick is just sitting there, gazing at Jo watching her
sleep)(Rick’s eyes are getting heavy because of the lacks of sleep he’s gotten,
but then something cathces his eye) (The hand he was holding of Jo’s started
moving, he got out of the bed)(Looked even harder at her, and then all of a
sudden her eyes fluttered open)
Rick: Jo....Jo... Oh My God Jo’s it’s you....you’re awake....(He hugs her)(he’s
very excited)
Jo Jo in a scartchy voice)Rick....Rick it is you!
Rick: yeah it’s me Sweatheart! I’m so ahppy that you’re awake...I love you so
much like you wouldn’t believe....I’ve never loved anyone or anything as much
as I love you
Jo She’s crying after his speech) Oh Rick I love you too
Rick Picks up the phone next to Jo’s Bed, and dials Mrs. G’s #) Hello....Nikki......
yeah this is dad.....yeah hun she’s awake, and she’s doing really well!!Yeah
come down as soon as you can....you’ll be here in an hour! Great! You wanna
talk to you mother.....sure sure...she’ll talk to you(Hands to phone to Jo)
Jo: Hey Nikki sweetie......yeha i’m feeling a lot better, yeah I love you too, you’ll
be here as soon as you can.....great...I cna’t wait....tell everyone I said hi, and
that I’m fine and there’s no need to worry! yeah, I love you too, bye
Rick: I’m so happy that you’re better(Gives her a big hug, then backs away
because he thinks he’s squeezng her too hard)
Jo: It’s ok you’re not hurting me!!!
Rick: I love you so much.....I just can’t stop saying it because when I los tyou i
regretted how I didn’t tell you enough that I loved you......so everytime I look into
your eyes, and see the love you have for me, I’llt ell you I love you, because I’m
over joyed to be sharing the rest of my life with you!
Jo: That’s so sweet Rick, stop you’re going to make me cry again, and you know
how much I hate crying ( A few tears slip from her eyes but Rick catches them
nefore they go anywhere)
Rick: Did I ever tell you how beautiful you look when you cry, well actually all the
time!
Jo Laughs a little bit) awww, thanks Rick
Rick: Do you mind (points to the bed)
Jo: Not at all (Rick gets in with her) I missed this!
Rick: Yeah Me tot
(Everyone else shows up) (They all say how much they missed Jo and didn’t
know what they would do without her........)(A few days later and Jo’s going
home)
Jo: Ah, so good to get out of this place
Rick: Yeah I know what you mean the beds, aren’t conferatble at all!
Jo:haha, thanks again Rick for being sooo...soooo
Rick: Charming?? Wonderful?? Amazing??
Jo: Yeah all of those! (They check out get into the car and leave)(They go to
Mrs. G house before they have to leave)
Jo: I’m going ti miss all of you guys, you’re so amazing for staying so locse by
me in my time in need! Thanks again Blair, natalie, tootie, Jeff, Snake I realy
apreciate it, and Connor, Alissa, and Carrie as well, you guys are awesome!
All:No Problem....(they all hug each other and then are off on their sperate ways)
(Jo, Rick, Nikki, and Chris are on their way to the airport)(Jo’s driving the car,
she was in a coma but didn’t suffer anything severe accept her body was in
shock to the accident it put her in a coma)
Jo: hey kids we’re almost there, you guys ready to go home?
Chris: We sure are, i can’t wait to sleep in my own bed, and room again!
Nikki: yeah me too
(Later they board their plane, and it takes off, they’re seated)(The kids fell
alseep very quickly)(Jo and Rick each look behind and check on them, they’re
fine, so they turn back around)(Rick has his arm around Jo, and she’s resting
her head on his shoulder)(they moved that sperator that was in between the
seats)
Jo Looks up) Rick?
Rick: Yeah Sweetie
Jo: Thank you so much for being there for me through everything, you really
mean a lot to me!
Rick: I love you with all my heart
Jo: I love you too! (They Kiss but not passtionatly because they’re in public, but
they sit their with each other, for the rest of the plane ride)(Eventually Jo falls
asleep as does Rick)(And they live happily ever after)


~Well everyone that was my first fanfic, and I don’t know whow it is so reply’s
would help me out a lot, and I know that there’s a lot of Jo, and Rick, and Nikki,
and Chris in it, but Jo’s my favorite character, so if you want me to write another
one, just ell me and I will. I don’t know how good this is going to be since it’s my
first one I hope you all liked it!
