I am wondering if anyone here has the grey area "complete" dvd sets of MTS? How is the quality? I don't expect restored prints and figure most episodes will be syndicated prints running about 22 minutes but I am getting sick of waiting as it seems obvious this show will never be on dvd and with twelve seasons I will be dead by the time it all got released if it ever did.
I bought the complete Adam-12 from I-Offer and was happy with it as it is the only way to see it since it is in the same "holding pattern" as Dragnet with Universal. $50 doesn't seem bad for the complete run of the series. Thanks in advance for any replies. |

I have two complete sets of "My Three Sons". With 12 years worth to watch, I haven't seen all the shows yet. But through the first 50-60, I would put the quality around 8.5. Very watchable, but not studio quality.

Yeah. I figure I will just order these type of sets for Patty Duke, Dobie Gillis, Ann Sothern and the rest that will probably never see the light of day on offical releases and should they ever at one season a year it will take until I am 70 years old. DVD companies really irk me by pushing this modern garbage that sucked when it was new and still does at us constantly. I mean, do we really need Desperate Housewives on dvd? Please, Gimme a Break (pun intended).
