Question TV Characters Who Actually LIKED Their In-Laws

The only one I can think of right now is Keith Anderson (Good Times). He always treated Florida with much love and respect. Can anyone think of more examples?

Tony Micelli adored his future mother-in-law Mona on Who's the Boss? (Well I know Tony and Angela never married on the show but in my mind they did eventually-- and lived happily ever after)

Adam and Almanzo both loved Charles and Caroline on Little House on the Prairie.

The Ingalls family on Little House on the Prairie. No animosity there.

The Waltons. The grandparents lived with them.

Lucy Ricardo adored Ricky's mother and vice-versa. Ricky on the other hand...

On "Green Acres",in the first, second and third season episodes,Lisa always got along with Oliver's mother, and called her mother, and not Mrs.Douglas.

On the drama Family, Jeff Maitland had a cordial relationship with his in-laws the Lawrences. After he split with their daughter Nancy, it was not always sunshine and roses.

Lori Beth, after she and Richie got married, treated Howard and Marion as well as she treated her own parents.

On the mothers-in-law - the kids got along with their inlaws - though the son-in-law needed to find someithing other than Mother Hubbard to call Eve Arden.

I forgot - Harriette Winslow always loved and respected her mother-in-law, Estelle, on Family Matters.

Whitley got along with Dwayne's father on A Different World, but Mother Wayne and Whitley? No.

Brad Benson and Teresa Falco of Angie, Yes.

Richie got married on HAPPY DAYS? So THAT'S why he left the show. Was that how the show ended? And who was Lori Beth? Was that the character that Crystal Bernard or whatever her name is; played?

Richie was written out of the show as having gone into the Army with Ralph Malph. Lori Beth was played by Lynda Goodfriend who stayed with the show until it ended. She would be seen talking to Richie over the phone, which is how they got married. She even had a baby. Crystal Bernard was a different character who took Joanie's place after her and Chachi got their own show. The show ended with the Wedding of Joanie and Chachi. Ron Howard came back for the final show.

I remember that episode-Richie and Lori Beth got married, over the telephone. Richie was still at the Army base, while Lori Beth was back in Milwaukee. Fonzie stood in for Richie on his behalf. They did have a son, Richie Jr. I sometimes wonder what it would've been like if Heather Pfister met Richie Cunningham Jr.? That's certainly something to think about. Crystal Bernard was K.C. Cunningham, Richie and Joanie's cousin from Texas. She picked up where Erin Moran left off as she and Scott Baio were spun off into Joanie Loves Chachi, but both of them managed to make appearances during season 10, as Happy Days was beginning to wind down. Joanie and Chachi did get married in the show's finale, but in my opinion, Crystal Bernard, Don Most, Anson Williams and the second Chuck Cunningham, Randolph Roberts, probably could've also joined both Ron Howard and Lynda Goodfriend in the Happy Days finale, "Passages". That would've been somewhat appropriate, considering Tom Bosley blurting out after sipping wine at the wedding, "Wait! Where's Chuck?" If Randolph were there, that question would be answered.
