Question Island Visitor Matchmaking

Here's a fun question! If you had to play matchmaker and match up each of the castaways (romantically) with a visitor to the island--how would you do it. Here are my votes: Gilligan--KALANI; Skipper--I'm stumped. I'll make an exception and give him to one of Wrongway's "paradise" island girls, even though, technically, they're on another island; Thirston--ERIKA TIFFANY SMITH; Lovey--WRONGWAY FELDMAN; Professor--EVA GRUBB; Maryann--
UGUNDI; Ginger--IGOR, the cosmonaut. I have my reasons for each of these, of course and will provide if you are interested--but, whom would you choose for each????

Okay,let's see:

Gilligan with Mary Ann like Mrs.Howell wanted to be.If it wasn't for the Howell's fight,I thinks it would have work.I can even imagine a little Gilligan and a little Mary Ann jumping up and down driving the skipper nutt

The skipper with Erika Tiffany Smith. He could become the captain of her beautiful yatch, could travel the world and have great fun together.

Mr.Howell with Ginger. They seem to have fun together and it would be too much as a stretch because Mr.Howell alway favored Ginger over anybody even his wife sometimes. He could become her manager and she could have the career that she always dreamed about.

Mrs.Howell with the professor:Faced it,Mrs.Howell has a serious crush on him and he enjoys her compagny very much, she's rich,he could do all his experiments that he wished, become a world known scientist. He's not interested in sex too much. So,why not?

This is a tricky one, since very few female visitors show up on the island. However, here goes:

Gilligan = Eva Grubb. Hey, she seemed to have a thing for him. I mean, she sure didn't want a grape. As Gilligan said, "I couldn't turn her off." Maybe spending some time with him would make her a nicer person.

The Skipper = the fat native girl. Maybe they really could go on a diet together.

Mr. Howell = the native chieftainess. You know the in-joke here. And they're both great dancers.

The Professor = Alice McNeal. The Vagabond Lady! Hey, she counts - she went over the island! An adventurer like her might be just what our sober scientist needs, and they could spend long evenings discussing aerodynamics and weather patterns and things like that.

Mrs. Howell = Wrongway. The one man other than her husband who genuinely found her attractive. Wrongway was sweet, and I admire the fact that he admired a mature woman.

Ginger and Mary Ann = all four of the Mosquitoes. Seriously. Mary Ann actually tore the P.J.'s off one of them. Innocent, my Aunt Fanny.

Im, I would be interested in hearing your reasons! This is tough, since so many of the visitors were pretty unsavory characters, and there is a definite shortage of female visitors:

Skipper/Erika Tiffany Smith - a nice "opposites attract" situation, and he's so cute with his boyish crush on her
Gilligan/Eva Grubb - because "wanna grape?" is my favorite Gilligan line ever
Ginger/Haruki - even though his mother will be none too thrilled
Mrs. Howell/Wrongway - I think we have a winner!
Mary Ann/Duke - he just might be the kind who settles down and improves when he meets a nice girl

OOoh, my turn. I am excluding the Howells and focusing on those Castaways and Visitors who do NOT HAVE PARTNERS

MARY ANN -- Gilligan's Double (The Russian Spy). He looks enough like Gilligan.
GILLIGAN -- Kalani. I think he'd like him better as a partner than as a slave.
THE PROFESSOR -- Eva Grubb. She seems like the shy, brainy type
THE SKIPPER -- the large native maiden. I have a feeling she'd grow on him
GINGER -- Tongo, the Ape Man Actor. I have a feeling that after she learned he was just an actor, she'd find him sorta-kinda sexy.

Sorry to take so long with my reply; I don't get out to these here parts that often. Weirdly, I think I gave these reasons somewhere before but they're not on this thread, anyway....here goes.

Gilligan/Kalani: I don't see a great passion between them but I think there is something casual, at least, in potential that only "honor" gets in the way of.

Skipper/paradise island girl: He certainly goes for very attractive girls and
has fantasies about a hula dancer in a grass skirt, as well as a dream about having a harem catering to him. He is also comfortable with the whole South Pacific (not the musical) scene, having sailed those waters for so long.

Thurston/Erika Tiffany Smith: There's a little fliriting, I think, going on there. She is certainly beautiful and he calls the Professor "blind" for not claiming this prize. They also are more on par than Thurston and Lovey, both being financial wizards, as it were and they are cut of the same cloth and accustomed to the same lifestyle.

Lovey/Wrongway: Wrongway finds her beautiful and she also notes her attraction to the young pilot. On a dashing, superficial level, at least, I can see some romance happening.

Ginger/Igor: I'm not sure what happened with that scene where Ginger plays decoy. Ginger goes for tall, handsome, etc. and he fits that bill, even if not an Adonis. He is also intelligent and an "important" type figure (an astronaut) and has an interest in women that would suit Ginger.

Professor/Eva Grubb: She looks like Ginger! The Professor is interested in Ginger so he would also find Eva attractive (done up of course). She is a fairly reserved type who seems intelligent and strong-minded as well. If she weren't a b------- in the end, a pretty good match.

Maryann/Ugundi: He is definitely handsome, doing justice to Maryann's beauty. Also, if enamored of him, I think Maryann would fit into the submissive role with him well.
