Default Who else loved the opening?

I just loved the opening sequence for this show, for the second-eighth seasons, with Cleveland rocks. Definitely a great song, especially for the earlier seasons, with the sequence looking like a music video. Anyone else liked it?

I loved it too. I didn't know you were a Drew Carey fan as well? That's great. We should liven up this board!

Thumbs up

I'm very biased because I am a Clevelander, born and bred. I love that sequence/song! I also loved the Five O'Clock World opening from the second season. I actually got to see Drew and Ryan in person - at a 2001 taping of Whose Line. What fun!!

What show am I not a fan of? I love the Drew Carey show . . . started watching it in it's second season. But, no one ever posts at this board, so how could you know?

I live near Detroit, so I'm also a fan of the show. I also liked the 5 O'Clock World Theme (isn't that 1st season?) but Cleveland Rocks definitely fit the show better, IMO.

I too loved the Five O'Clock World theme as well. I like it so much whenever I hear that song on the radio, it always makes me think of the Drew Carey show. I also downloaded that song and added it to my oldies songs.

It was a good song, and a fun opening. The same thing happens when I hear Clevelan Rocks. It right away makes me think of Drew Carey. It's funny, because my daughter played the song in her band program, and the entire time they were playing, I wanted to pop in my season 1 DVD of DC-LOL

I'm biased and love every opening to this show, but I gotta go with Cleveland Rocks as being my favorite opening. And just something interesting, my uncle works in construction, he was hired to work on the house that Drew Carey originally grew up in.

Cool

Personally I prefer the "Moon Over Parma" opening.

I LOVED the "5 O'Clock World" and "Cleveland Rocks" openings! Cleveland Rocks is an AWESOME song, sung by my favorite group; The Presidents of the United States of America! Whoo hoo! Whomever came up with the choreography for those two openings was brilliant! Wasn't there another one where they did choreography to a song? I'm thinking it was "Time Warp", wasn't it? I love all the openings where they danced.

Yeah, the Time Warp was in the episode "New York & Queens", which aired in Season 2.

Actually, the name of the one town is SOLON, not far from where my grandparents lived. I loved all the openings.

Thanks for the correction. Ohio geography isn't exactly my best subject! Fortunately we have lots of Ohio residents on these boards such as yourself who can help me out. And that's neat that your grandparents lived near there!
