I sometimes use the Sony DVD-R disks, but I haven't had any problems with them, what are you using to record them?

i have a few Lite-On recorders, i haven't had problems with them - maybe you should reduce the write speed or try a different brand of disks

hi, i have tried several brands and verbatim 4x dvd-r work the best for me. i have found that with my stand alone recorders that i transfer from vhs to dvd, that any brand seems to work. i get alot coasters when i use other brands besides verbatim in my duplicator. it is alot more pickier about discs that the vcr dvd recorder combos. thanks

Taiyo Yuden (Japan made) is the best there is. You likely won't find them in a retail store. You can get them (8x speed) for about .25 -.30 each at
www.supermediastore.com The Taiyo Yuden Valuelines are a great deal. Not as good as the Premiums, but well worth it. Very few coasters. |
