Default Another Six Million Dollar Man question...

What would be the proper order to view these four sets in that are currently released in the UK:
would it go:

Six Million Dollar Man season 1, then 2, then the Bionic Woman Season 1 and 2? Did season 1 of the Bionic Woman come directly after Season 2 of the SMDM or did the Bionic Woman come on closer to the end of Season 3 of the SMDM? (I do know they ran at the same time (pun?) but since only 4 sets are out in the UK I'm wondering if S3 of the SMDM has some critical "Jaime" material; any real fans out there..?)

Just trying for continuity

No one? Seems like Season One of the Bionic Woman should go right after season 2 of the Six Million Dollar Man, correct?

In other news, I was NOT prepared for LOVING the show the SMDM when I imported it. I WAS expecting to have a nice slice of nostalgia pie but was NOT prepared for the fairly clever writing, and sharp jabs back and forth from Austin and Goldman. Yes, it does have a layer of cheese two layers thick but there is a wit there I am really enjoying; so far I have watched the three pilot movies and the first two "real episodes". Population Zero is EXCELLENT SCI FI!!

Just trying for continuity

Ideally you should watch seasons 1, 2 and the as yet unreleased season 3 of Six Million Dollar Man which kicked off with the 2 part episode "Return Of The Bionic Woman (which set the stage for Jaime's own show to debut later in the season). Then watch up to the 14th episode of season 3 "The Winning Smile" before beginning the 1st season of Bionic Woman which had a mid-season debut in January 1976...and continued airing thru the spring along side the remaining eps of Six Million Dollar Man season 3. You will notice starting with episode 17 of that season that Jaime makes guest appearances in the remaining season episodes of SMDM including the wonderful 2 part "Secret Of Bigfoot" as well as 2 more episodes- "Love Song for Tanya" and the final episode of the season "Big Brother ".

In the fall of 1976, season 4 of Six Million Dollar Man and season 2 of Bionic Woman aired simultaneously each week on Sundays and Wednesdays (Tuesdays here in Canada) on ABC and the season debut was another awesome two-parter that overlapped the two series - "Return Of Bigfoot" pts 1 & 2 (one of my all-time favorite episodes between the two series)which debuted both shows for that fall season of 1976.Both Steve and Jaime made one more historic cross-over of episodes in the excellent 3 part "Kill Oscar" of that season as well which introduced the deadly Fembots. Of course in syndication "Return Of Bigfoot" has been put with Six Million Dollar Man and "Kill Oscar" goes with the Bionic Woman package.

In the fall of 1977, ABC foolishly cancelled the Bionic Woman, but thankfully NBC picked it up for one final season. Because of the shows airing on opposing networks there were sadly no more Steve/Jaime crossovers or even mentions of each other. Ironically though, Richard Anderson & Martin E Brooks, in what must have been a tv 1st, played the same characters on two shows airing on opposite networks.Respectively, SMDM did one more Bigfoot episode (not nearly as good as the previous 4) and BW did another 2 part fembot episode.
This was the final 5th season for Six Million Dollar Man and the final 3rd season for Bionic Woman, excluding the later 3 reunion movies which tied up all the loose ends.

Hopefully this helps answer your question...realistically you should wait til season 3 of SMDM comes out to watch season 1 of BW, but of course, your not gonna want to do that! (who would?) Hopefully this fall though both seasons 3 of SMDM and season 3 of Bionic Woman will be officially released. In a way, original airing -time wise, Bionic Woman is ahead of SMDM in releases

I'm really hoping these seasons get released in the UK this fall or early winter!
