I have a couple saved on a disk. It's fun to do when you're bored and you're utterly annoyed by what the real cable nets are putting out. So far, I have one for ABC soap operas, Aaron Spellings shows, primetime soap operas, and 70s crime dramas. I have tried and tried to do some sitcoms skeds, but I can never get it the way I want it. I think the idea would be to focus on certain eras or types of sitcoms. I've always tried game shows, but it didn't work too well. I'll post the ones I have so far.
The ABC Daytime Network (called ABCD for short) This channel would air all of the important daytime soap operas in the history of the ABC network. Same-day episodes of the current shows air in primetime, following classic episodes of the same shows. The daytime lineup consists of defunct ABC soaps. The classic episodes air as "classic storylines." Instead of starting at one point in a show's history and continuing on from there, there would be a poll on the cable net's website where viewers could pick a storyline. The storyline with the most votes would then be aired in full, starting from the episodes that set up the story, ending with the conclusion of phasing out of the story, and featuring every episode in between. Monday-Friday 6am: "Dark Shadows" (yesterday's 3pm episode) 6:30: "Dark Shadows" (yesterday's 3:30 episode) 7am: "All My Children" (yesterday's ABC episode) 8am: "One Life to Live" (yesterday's ABC episode) 9am: "General Hospital" (yesterday's ABC episode) 10am: "Port Charles" 10:30: "Port Charles" 11am: "Ryan's Hope" 11:30: "Ryan's Hope" 12pm: "Loving" 12:30: "Loving" 1pm: "The City" 1:30: "The City" 2pm: "The Edge of Night" (starting in 1979) 2:30: "The Edge of Night" (starting in 1979) 3pm: "Dark Shadows" 3:30: "Dark Shadows" 4pm: "All My Children" (classic storylines - Erica and Tom's marriage, c1978-c1980) 5pm: "One Life to Live" (classic storylines - Marty's rape, c1993-c1995) 6pm: "General Hospital" (classic storylines - Luke and Laura, c1979-c1982) 7pm: "All My Children" (today's ABC episode) 8pm: "One Life to Live" (today's ABC episode) 9pm: "General Hospital" (today's ABC episode) 10pm: "All My Children" (classic storylines repeat) 11pm: "One Life to Live" (classic storylines repeat) 12am: "General Hospital" (classic storylines repeat) 1am: "Port Charles" (today's 10am episode) 1:30: "Port Charles" (today's 10:30 episode) 2am: "Ryan's Hope" (today's 11am episode) 2:30: "Ryan's Hope" (today's 11:30 episode) 3am: "Loving" (today's 12pm episode) 3:30: "Loving" (today's 12:30 episode) 4am: "The City" (today's 1pm episode) 4:30: "The City" (today's 1:30 episode) 5am: "The Edge of Night" (today's 2pm episode) 5:30: "The Edge of Night" (today's 2:30 episode) Weekend 6am-11am: this week's "Port Charles" 11am-4pm: this week's classic "General Hospital" 4pm-9pm: this week's classic "All My Children" 9pm-2am: this week's classic "One Life to Live" 5am-10am: this week's "Ryan's Hope" 10am-3pm: this week's current "All My Children" 3pm-8pm: this week's current "One Life to Live" 8pm-1am: this week's current "General Hospital" 1am-6am: this week's "Loving" |
