Blair, Tootie, and Natalie - like winning the lottery in Season 2!!
Out of the seven girls from season one, only three were kept to continue on with the series, with a new girl being hired (Nancy McKeon) to give the show some teeth (pun intended).
Imagine being one of the seven girls, hearing that only three of you will be continuing on with the series as permanent players. Will it be me? Or me? Imagine the rush of relief when Lisa Whelchel, Mindy Cohn, and Kim Fields were chosen! It really was like winning the lottery! |

I'm sure it wasn't a surprise to anyone though. Those three girls were the most likable ones from season one.
