I would say The Golden Girls can be, with the exception of the two-parters of course. That's prob. a major reason for its success on Lifetime. Also The Dick Van Dyke Show, since nothing major happened in the characters' lives over the course of the series, ie, marriage, birth, etc.

Hogan's Heroes was actually filmed out of order - all over the place when it comes to period during the war. Event he ones with Baker in season 6.
I remember little of it since I saw it only when I was a kid, but...I would suspect Gilligan's Island would be one. All I remember is the guest stars each day (since it was in reruns) and always being unable to get off the island. Don't recall there was lots of change in relationships, etc. |

most shows were; and still are; not filmed in order. For instance the pilot of THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW was actually the 2nd or 3rd episode filmed (I think).

I hadn't realized that, but still, I think you can figure that's not what I meant with HH - not sure what the word would be, though. Unchronological? That might work, if it's a word :-)
Of course, when they're filmed and aired are different. One would hope a pilot would be aired first :-) But, then eppisodes being pre-empted messes that all up anyway sometimes. |

The Brady Bunch is one show whose episodes I could watch in random order. (Heck, I could do this with most comedies!)

The Cosby Show, Who's the Boss?, I Love Lucy, The Andy Griffith Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air are all shows that I still find enjoyable when watched out of order.
For some reason, I find it kind of difficult to watch Roseanne out of order in order. No idea why. |

Family Matters is pretty easy to watch out of order especially the early to middle seasons.
