"Without knowing why" (my first fanfic, very lame) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Blair walked in the room from a great day of school. She got a 100% on her Social Studies test and a cute guy whom she thought was "The One" asked her out. When she walked in she expected to see Jo sitting on her bed, but instead there layed a note. Blair wasn't at all prepared for what she read.

She read the note silently. "Blair,
There is something I have to tell you. I can't live this way any more. I don't know what's wrong with me and frankly I don't really want to know. I'm telling you this because I don't want to leave without saying good bye. You've been a good friend all the short years I've known you and I don't know what I would've done without you. Thanks for being such a great friend. Mrs. G, Natalie and Tootie have been great friends, too, but we had something special. I know you're probably in shock from these words I'm telling you and it's been very hard writing this. Blair, I'm afraid I can't explain to you the feelings I'm feeling right now as I'm writing this, but I been feeling this for a long time. It's like I'm missing something, and there's no way I'm ever going to find it. Everytime I start to care about something, something seems to go wrong, it's the Jo Polniaczek law of nature.
I could go on forever with a list, but I'll only mention a couple. I used to have lots of friends in the Bronx, but most of them have gotten killed in gangs and stuff (I've thought about going back there but I've realized how much I've changed and I just wouldn't belong there anymore). There was my first love, Eddie, I thought he was the only one I could ever love, and my heart totally broke when I found out about him being married and I knew I couldn't trust him anymore.
I have had great times with Nat, Tootie, Mrs. G. and you, and even though we've had some hard times we stuck together and I don't want this to break you guys up so please do me a favor and stick together. Just because I'm not going to be around any longer doesn't mean I have to break your friendship up. All you have to do is forget about me and remember all the days when I wasn't there (your happiest years).
So, I guess this is good bye. I don't like to say that when I know I'm going to see somebody again, but I know that I will never see you again. Blair, This is it, I'm committing suicide. I'll say it again, I'm sorry I had to say that, but I always speak the truth.
Before I go I would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. G. who kept me here as long as possible, without her I wouldn't have stuck around long enough to have all the great memories I've had.

There were many horrible thoughts racing through Blair's head. "but Jo was always so sure of herself" ect. Then she thought "OMG!! Suicide!! The bathroom, the medicine cabnet!" She raced into the bathroom and looked down and yet again she wasn't prepared for what she saw.

Okay, IMO this is lame. Should I continue?

Wow, I didn't think I would get that many responses.

It's a real confidence booster. I'm not sure which season it is so I'm saying 3-4 season. I'll try to find some time to finsh it. I have the idea's I'm just getting them written down.

What Blair saw changed her whole opinion of Jo. Jo was lying there so pale, weak, yet helpless. Blair had never seen Jo look like this. She had never seen anyone look like this. For a moment, a moment that seemed to last forever, Blair just stared.

She knelt down with hope that Jo wasn't what it looked like, dead. For the first time in that 30 minutes Blair had hope, Jo was breathing! She had never felt happier in her whole life.

"Mrs. Garrett!!!" Blair yelled at the top of her lungs.

Mrs. Garrett walked in the room. "Where's Jo?" She saw the look on Blair's face and her eyes traveled to the floor.

Blair saw the questioning look on Mrs. G's face and said just one word, "Suicide attempt".

"What? Why would she want to do that?"

"It's all in here", Blair replyed handing her the suicide note.

I know it's not very much, but I have to take a shower, go to bed, ect.
