Early Debra part II? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the earlier eps. I notice that Debra, didn't look that glamours. Pattie had her hair cut like she was one of the Beatles

and she didn't dress that nice. Compare to the latter eps. and her new sitcom, anybody else notice this? I wonder why?

Maybe she was trying out a different style or just trying to look like an ordinary housewife for the show.

I liked her short haircut,I thought it was cute on her. But I didn't
like her clothes. I guess she decided to wait awhile on the other wadrobe
as she did go through some real life pregnancies while on the show.

I really liked Patty Heaton within the first maybe 3 or 4 seasons- in real life, she had like 3 boys and while on the show was indeed preggers. After maybe the 3rd season, she had a breast lift, tummy tuck, and other insane imperfection fixers. It looks to me she had some botox and or maybe a facelift too. I didn't like that Debra I liked the regular, normal, housewife before she had anything done.

Well considered the fact that she did have four C-sections.

I think Patricia Heaton always had a great appearance during the
show's nine seasons.And she has a great figure in real life. But,all
actresses go through the plastic surgery thing,So she's not alone.

Good point!- BUT... It makes the show- not so 'believable' when or if Debra is supposed to be a housewife, then not alot of people are going to 'believe' that shes a stay at home mom. It makes it sound like Ray got a big raise and that made Debra go out and literally, get some work done ; After all, they don't live in Beverly Hills, they lived in NY.
