Default Spoofs!

What spoofs did the Roseanne show feature?

I remember: Leave it to Beaver, Patty Duke, shows of the '50's, Gilligan's Island. Wasn't there a Bewitched one? Also there was the ep. where Roseanne daydreamed being TV stars like That Girl. Who else?

I do believe there was a Bewitched spoof - I know for sure there was a spoof of the soap One Life to Live (which inspired Fred to propose to Jackie).

I don't remember the Leave it to Beaver spoof. I do know they did the 50's show in season 8. That was fun to watch, cause it was in black and white and all. They did a spoof in season 6 with Luke and Laura from General Hospital I know. Can't think of anything else.

^ I remember the Luke & Laura thing. That aired in the 1993-94 season, right after Tony Geary and Genie Francis returned to GH in the fall of 1993.

i think showing the IDoJ, MTM, and TG spoofs showed how Roseanne thought her show was just as groundbreaking as the others.

Don't know if this counts but the spoof of the OJ Simpson case, where Jackie acts like Marcia Clark.

The "Leave it to Beaver" spoof was in the one where Jackie helps the family for a week because Roseanne is gone. There is a scene where Jackie hands out lunches at the front door as the kids merrily bounce off to school. In the background the "Leave it to Beaver" theme song is playing.

The episode where Roseanne daydreams that she's different TV women after the big blowup over controlling Dan is one of the few shining moments for that horrible last season.

I love the part where she spoofs Mary Tyler Moore, and John Goodman plays Mary's boss. It's classic when the real Ed Asner comes out at the end and says, "Mary, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." Asner sobs like a child.

The cast also played the characters from Gilligan's Island and the Cast of Gilligan spoofed the Conners, it was hilarious.
