TV Land done with the weekend marathons? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I used to enjoy some of the weekend marathons TV Land used to run.Especially the older shows.A few years ago it seemed like TV Land was running these quite often but I haven't noticed too many in the last year or so.Have they stopped the marathons?

The last marathons I remember them airing were Good Times, Benson and What's Happening!! That was over a year ago. I too liked the Fandemonium Weekends - hope they come back!!

I gotta feeling TV Land wont be doing many of these anymore.They have sold out the older viewer base that they were supposed to appeal to in the first place.
I'm thinking That Girl had a marathon in the last year and maybe Daniel Boone.

i hope they have more brady bunch 48 hour marathons

they were the best!

Maybe in 2009 for its 40th anniversary

like its 35th.

The last 48-hour marathon I think they did was the "Three's Company" one back in March, for its 30th anniversary. But that wasn't a solid 48 hours of TC, they also threw in episodes of "The Ropers" and "Three's a Crowd."

I loved the 48-hour marathons. It was the perfect way to showcase shows that they have the rights to but don't feature on their regular schedule.
