if you could make your own sitcom, what would it be?
i have two ideas: 1. My Crazy Dad- this is about a family of four, with a mother, father, teenage boy, and teenage girl. The father has his old man in a nursing home, suffering with Alzheimer's disease. The problem is that the nursing home isn't doing a great job taking care of the old man. So, the father decides to take his old man, to his home to live with his family. Since the old man has Alzheimer's disease, he tends to do some unusual things, including some funny situations. So, this living arragment becomes a bumpy ride for this family. 2. a wacky alien comes to earth and lives with a young couple (not married) and gets into all sorts of crazy situations. I don't have a title for this idea yet. |

1. A golf pro shop at a small country club in the midwest. Since this is the midwest, almost anyone has enough money to join the country club, including farmers, the guy who owns a gas station, the bank president, etc.
The setting would include the country club dining room, and the one guy, who is the lifeguard at the pitifully small pool on the grounds. The family who runs the golf pro shop, would include the manager, his wife, the wife's father, the manager's 13-year-old son & a not-too-bright nephew of the owner's. Additional cast members would be one or two of the waitresses in the dining room of the country club, and their overly-stuffy manager, who wants to keep the riff-raff out of the country club, and will fall all over himself toward anyone he thinks is more in line with the kind of country club he wishes he was running. Instead, he has to deal the hand he's dealt with this midwestern farming town. |

The Little Bastard Show: A multi camera show about a mean juvenile delinquent who commits every crime there is and is always hatching some sort of ponzi scheme but always gets his in the end.
The Walnuts: Imagine the Walton's crossed with the Devils Rejects Goony Rock Island: Gilligan's Island with sex, drugs, and rock & roll with violence thrown in. |
