Ex-'Grey's Anatomy' Star Kate Walsh Weds

Kate Walsh's character might have gone through a messy divorce on "Grey's Anatomy," but in real life, her marital bliss has just begun.

The star of ABC's spinoff "Private Practice" married her movie executive fiancee Alex Young on Saturday, Sept. 1, reports People.

Walsh, 39, and Young, 36, exchanged vows at the Ojai Presbyterian Church in Ojai, a town just north of Los Angeles. The ceremony was attended by friends, family, actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman, as well as "Grey's" costars Katherine Heigl, Chandra Wilson, Sara Ramirez and Justin Chambers. Show's creator Shonda Rhimes also cast an approving eye on the proceedings.

The bride wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier wedding gown.

Walsh met Young, a production co-president at 20th Century Fox, in February, and he proposed three months later in San Francisco. Although Walsh had been seen with Young in the spring, they went public with their romance on April 28 at a Los Angeles fundraiser for Barack Obama.

Walsh will take her character Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery to California for "Private Practice," which will premiere Wednesday, Sept. 26.
