Since there is no channel showing classic Nick or Disney stuff, that's why the execs seem think?

todays cartoons though are crap compared to the ones in the 60s to early 90s, children's tv nowadays is just garbage and the reason why there is no market for them is because tv right now is all reality tv and drama based and the tv companies want to continue to feed to us doses of that stuff, which not all of us want and demand

I've been to other countries, where channels like Cartoon Network and Disney Channel still show classic cartoons - the classic Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Road Runner cartoons.

I don't understand why those classics don't air here... I guess it has to do with advertisers.

Protip:The cartoons you watched as a kid and haven't seen for years aren't quite as good as you remember them being.

The classic Hanna Barbera cartoons are on Boomerrang, my cable station doesn't carry it you need satellite to get that network, it sucks.

It used to be you could watch classic cartoons like Popeye, Bugs Bunny and Woody Woodpecker all day long on your local stations, but nowadays it seems like so many stations are affiliated with a big company, network or studio, they'll only show cartoons their company makes or owns. You're not going to see many Disney cartoons on a WB station.

Morning and after school cartoons on local stations are dead. Poor cableless kids have nothing these days. Cable killed it. Saturday morning would be nothing but news and infomercials if they didn't have E/I quotas. Another problem with the classic Nick shows is they don't own a lot of them but they do own the game shows like Double Dare
