Default Any NFL fans that hate your local NFL team?

Living up here in western NY, the Buffalo Bills don't do anything for me. I really hated them when they went to four straight Superbowls.

I met a guy at a Bills game tailgate a few years ago that lives in Pittsburgh. He said he lives in Pittsburgh and HATES the Steelers....he mentioned that he was a Bills fan! So I know there are a lot of NFL fans that live in or near NFL communities that don't like the local team.

I live just over the border from there....While I hate football, Im in a similar situation with hockey...I live 35 mins from the Buffalo arena and hate the Sabres, as for the closest Canadian NHL team, I'm closest to the Leafs and Hate them more than ANY other team in sports! ( Even the Yankees )

Back home, I lived in the northern-more reaches of Titans territory. Ugh. It was also the southern edge of Colts territory. Ugh.

Now, living in Lexington [KY], it's the Convicts...er..Beagles...er..Bengals. I just can't win.

Here where I live it is either Raiders fans or Cowboys fans. It gets so intense, the local pizza places refuse to air either of those games. I can't tell you how many fights have erupted due to zealous fans.

We don't have a local team since the Raiders left to Oakland. With the Dallas Cowboys having had their practices here in my city, it seems the fan base grew. I have always been a Cowboy fan. Since I was 12. That's 30 years now.

I'll bet when the Raiders start winning agian, those fans will come back. That is strange that the Cowboys have their pratices in California rather than Texas.

The rivalry between the Browns/Steelers in the Cleveland/Pittsburgh area has always been legendary. However, there are people in the Cleveland area who hate the Browns and love the Steelers, and vice versa. It truly is a thin line between love and hate when it comes to sports in this area, and it often becomes blurred. For the record, I always root for the home team. Go Brownies.

P.S. Speaking of legendary hates, I know Leonard (aka freshprinceofLA) hates the Raiders almost as much as Solomon hates the Eagles.

I live midway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. So there are a lot of both fans here. I hate the Steelers tho.

I live just outside of New York City in Jersey & I absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt hate, loathe, despise the New YorK Vagiants. The giants are to me what the eagles are to Solomon.
