Andy Dick: Celebrity Bonehead of the Week

Hollywood's favorite cokehead (assuming the top position now that Lindsay's in rehab) performed at the Funny Bone Comedy Club in Columbus, Ohio last weekend, in what the club's manager calls his worst experience with a performer in the club's history.

Dick made inappropriate comments while on stage, groped patrons, took women into the men's room and urinated on the floor and on at least one person.

That's right. He urinated on someone. This seems plausible, as on Monday, photos surfaced of Andy in Ohio, as he showed his naughty bits to an eager fan while urinating.

The next day:

A limousine driver was to meet Dick early Monday morning at a hotel near the club, Stroupe said, but he couldn't be found and missed that morning's flight to Los Angeles.

Dick was across town, where he was issued a citation for urinating on the sidewalk by Columbus policeman John Fantin. Police eventually escorted Dick back to the hotel, Stroupe said.

Andy Dick is a talented actor and comedian, I've always liked him on Newsradio, but lately, he's been acting like a dick (no pun intended). It's not funny, it's sad and pathetic. He needs to go to rehab cause he's obviously whacked out of his mind on drugs. I'm just afraid that if he doesn't get some help real soon, the next time we all hear about him it might be an obituary.

As much as I love him on "NewsRadio", I've always said I would never want to meet him personally, lol. I didn't even realize he was in Ohio, though (I live in Ohio!). I agree with Skywalker. Andy needs help and now. I know we can't personally go out and help him, *saracastically* so let's all bash him on the messageboards and call him by his last name!

This keeps up, they'll turn that expression around to: "He's acting like such an ANDY!"

at this point in his career I think he just doesn't care anymore and he's just enjoying all the attention.

You may be right. He does love to get attention. I remember in the commentaries, he once said that he would rather have people hate him than not know who he is. Looks like he's succeeding in that, lol.

Even if he never does another thing, he still has a body of work to be proud of, The Ben Stiller Show, NewsRadio, Less Than Perfect, The Andy Dick Show, The Assistant. Those are five very funny shows (especially NewsRadio).

That is very sad and disturbing. Something needs to be done about "Hollywood"...I know that sounds odd, but what a mess celebrity makes of people. I think part of the problem is that police simply "escort him back to his hotel"...so he can get some more drugs and go on with his whacked out day. Wouldn't anyone else have had at least indecent exposure charges if not more?
Wouldn't it be interesting if we cared enough about our role models to make the road to stardom and notoriety resemble the structure of the military? And in order to keep a job in the entertainment business and gain fame you had to follow that same structure? Somehow I think we'd have way better role models and only truly talented celebrities.
But unfortunately, there's involved to muck it up.

That was already tried, actually.....in 1921 , Silent film comedy start Fatty Arbuckle was falsely accused and convicted of the death of starlet Virginia Rappe ( Supposedly he assaulted her with a champagne bottle )during a wild Hollywood party; this combined with other suspicious deaths and rampant stories of drug and alcohol abuse ( Not to mention Charlie Chaplin's tendency to seduce underaged girls ) caused the industry to create the Hays office (Run by Will B Hays ), an attempt by Hollywood at self-censor. Besides the censorship of the films, the studios, with Hayes' help established a code of conduct for the stars themselves.
