Default Corey In The House -- for Raven fans?

I've never watched CITH, but now that it is replacing Raven on ABC's Saturday morning lineup, I'm planning on tuning in.

As a Raven fan, will I enjoy it? Or does it have a different dynamic, given its central character is younger?

Really? It's replacing Raven? I can't believe it. TSR is the second highest rated show on ABC Kids right behind Hannah Montana. Why would they do this?

I tried getting into Cory In The House, I just can't. It's not my style.

Well I would guess the reason it's replacing TSR is because it's a big hit (as I understand it, anyways), and Raven isn't producing new shows. All the other ones in the ABC Kids Saturday morning lineup are still cranking out new stuff, I think.

yeah, but suite life is in its 3rd season and so is Hannah Montana I thinnk.....which means according to Disney's standard 65 episode deal, that they won't be on the air very much longer.

Yeah, but TSR lasted a full season after it ended on ABC Kids, right?

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see a spin off from either Hannah Montana or TSL -- Disney's always got something coming down the pipe

actually I think its the other way around. TSR was/is still going strong on ABC kids, almost a year after it was cancelled on Disney.

Sorry, let me rephrase what I said: TSR lasted a year on ABC Kids after it was cancelled

Point being, how much longer is a major network going to devote a weekly timeslot to a show that isn't generating new episodes?

I would think for as long as it's popular with the targeted audience. The more popular even though no new episodes are being generated, the more people tune in, which business wise, would equal advertising revenue, because what kids see in commercials they'll most likely want.

Well, false alarm -- turns out ABC Kids is holding off debuting Cory for the forseeable future. They are keeping their fall 07 lineup unchanged INCLUDING back-to-back Raven.

The theroy I'm subsrcinbg to is that they don't want to debut a "new" series during all the pre-empts that occur in college football season.

Cory was never my favorite character on "That's so Raven", and as one would expect, I don't like this show as much as I liked "That's so Raven".
