Ever notice the background laughter in Ricky's Movie Offer episode...

right after Fred busts the Ricardo's front door open after Ethel locks it and it gets stuck, you hear this laughter from the audience, but if you listen carefully, you can also hear Lucy laughing. I had become accustomed to hearing Desi laughing in the background, but I think this is the only time I hear her laughing in the background.

Anyone else know if she can be heard in other episodes?

Hmm, I never noticed that! Good ear! I'll listen for it next time I watch this episode.
I too have heard Desi laughing in the back quite a few times (he has a very..odd.. laugh that you just can't miss lol)

Is that her right at the beginning of the laughter?

I love to listen to the audience laughter and laugh track; you can pick out certain laughers. Lucy's mom was at many filmings. I wish I knew what she sounded like.

I'll have to listen for Lucy's off-stage laughter. I don't really recall it. It would have to be during a really funny moment, when Lucy was not in the scene.

I actually was caught off guard by her laughter. I wasn't really paying attention to the laughter, but lo and behold I heard it and I said to myself, "That's Lucy laughing." I was shocked because like I said, I had become accustomed to Desi's laughter. Lucy has her own distinct laugh that you can clearly hear in that scene. I will be on the lookout for other episodes to see if I can hear her laugh.

Boy, there aren't that many of those...the whole show is funny but really funny was usually Lucy.

You are right. Very few scenes where Lucy is NOT in the scene and the scene is funny.
