i cannot believe how quickly this year has gone already. is anyone here doing their xmas shopping this month or next month?

Yes, this year has gone by very fast. Especially the summer. It's hard to believe it's September already.

Next month I plan to get an early start on my procrastinating, which will give me plenty of time to ignore my Christmas shopping until late December.

btw folks, do you people in america and in canada celebrate any other holidays, apart from halloween, right up to xmas in december?

i am thinking of buying a few things such as tinsle, wrapping paper, bows to wrap the presents up and getting all this done by the end of this month. speaking of xmas, are there any shops in the US which sell xmas decorations, trees, ornaments, wrapping etc right now?

I think I have Halloween on my mind more than Christmas (then again, I start prepping for Halloween very early, lol).

But, yeah, I'll probably start my gift hunting in early November. I have too many birthdays to worry about in September.

Yes, in November we celebrate Thanksgiving.

2007 has surely flown by. It's more of a "Get ready for 2008" feeling to me actually. Anyways, once September rolls by, that's when I start saving up for Christmas. I always like to have my shopping done once December comes around because then it just becomes crazy to shop in all the stores. Last year about 90% of my shopping was done online and I think I'm going to shop online again this year just beacause it was so much easier and faster for me!! And might I add cheaper!!
