Default Funniest thing you ever saw on TV!

I know this is a hard one, cause I'm sure there's lots of contenders. But if you can, pick out one thing, one sketch, one impersonation, etc. that really stood out in your mind.

My fav is seeing John Goodman dressed up in drag as Linda Tripp on an Oprah parody on Saturday Night Live. IT WAS PRICELESS. You could really hear the audience laughing on that one. And Tim Meadows did a WICKED immitation of Oprah.

Close are: Gilda Radner as Emily Littela calling Jane Curtain a b**ch during a sketch, Gilda doing a take off sketch of Lucy ep "Switching Jobs" where she's spraying whipped cream and putting maraschino cherries on plutonium bombs. (SNL can be so twisted) And of course the real Lucy sketches themselves esp. The TV Commercial.

I liked when The Rock, HHH were on SNL they looked like they had a great time.
The Lucy Eps were a scream Job Switching, TV Commercial, etc.
Granny fighting the Giant Jack Rabbit.
Phoebe on Friends arguing over the phone with an Englishwoman while trying to get into contact with the gang who were in England.

My favorites (in no particular order):

- The Vitameatavegamin commercial (I Love Lucy)
- The Flying Turkeys newscast (WKRP)
- The old fashioned radio play (Frasier)
- The trip to the cabin with Daphne and Donny (Frasier)
- The entire "Speak the Truth" episode (Bewitched)
- Almost any episode of Barney Miller and Sanford & Son
- Every appearance of Lootin' Lenny (Good Times)
- The new microwave fan sucking up the cooking spaghetti! (Home Improvement) (Tim was the one who installed it - no surprise there)

This little bit from Corner Gas made me laugh harder than I had in years, To set the scene, Brent's Dad Oscar has just had a fight with Wes, the man who owns the local beer store; forcing Oscar to take things in his own hands, and make his own beer (Which closely resembles swamp water).....he decides to let his house guests try it first:

(Brent and Lacey about to taste Oscar's homemade beer)
Lacey: " I left Toronto to get AWAY from the polution!"
Brent: "Geez Dad, did you mix this in a Skidoo Boot, or a crow's nest?"
Dad: "You sissy, it's like a Belgian beer!"
Brent: "Honest to God Dad, it tastes like you beat a skunk to death with a salmon!"

OMG that line makes me laugh

That episode of Taxi where Rev. Jim's taking the written driver's test always cracks me up. Plus a bunch of those that you guys have already listed are some really good ones too.

Every single episode of King of Queens.

I Love Lucy: Lucy stating to Ethel wearing that Japanese/Eskimo outfit: "You look like an ad for a trip around the world."

note the Lucy episodes being mentioned here. WE LOVE LUCY!!!!

Roseanne and the whole PMS episode.

The Taxi episode mentioned above.

I agree with Monika abt Lootin' Lenny on Good Times.

On Little House on the Prairie when Laura finds out Nellie is lying abt being paralyzed, she pushes her sorry a$$ down into the pond.

Charlies Angels: Anytime the angels pulled out their guns and said FREEZE.

Several years back, I saw two stand-up comedians on TV that made me laugh so hard, I started getting asthmatic:

One was Richard Lewis, I think his name was. The material was so funny to me.

The other comedian was a guy named Frankie Pace, a short, bald Danny Devito-ish type, and the guy was soooo funny. He contorted his face into so many shapes and expressions, which, along with his jokes...man, all I can say, he was one of the funniest people I've ever seen and heard on TV

Another Lucy moment:

Lucy buys those checkerboard pants for Ethel's birthday. What was she thinking? I start laughing when Ethel asks when is she supposed to wear those pants. Lucy: "Well you wear them when you give smart dinner parties." Ethel: *sarcastically* "Oh...I was wondering what to wear to all those smart dinner parties I give." Then, Ethel starts laughing and that is just so hysterical.

Carol Burnett Show: The famous Gone With the Wind parody.

King of Queens: Doug afraid of that waitress who wants to kick his butt. The scene where he is running away from her is priceless.

Let me add:

Seinfeld: The Masturbation episode. What can I say? The whole episode cracks me up.

The Chinese Restaurant episode.

The Mannequin episode. When Jerry sees the mannequin in a rather risque pose and he tells Elaine the resemblance is uncanny. And then they proceed to walk over to the sales girl and Jerry pretends to be Elaine's lawyer coming up with all these supposed court precedents.

Col. Blakes sex lectures on MASH-it is SUCH A SHAME that those are cut out in sydnication-they're so hilarious!

The scene in the first season episode "DEAR DAD" from MASH, where Hot Lips tent collapses on her and Frank, & just before it does you hear her shout/cry of "OH FRANK"!!!

The scene in the 2nd season episode of Klinger hang-gliding.

The scene at the end of the first season episode "TO MARKET, TO MARKET" of Henry standing there watching his desk dissapearing, attatched to the bottom of a helicopter-that expression on his face is priceless!!

The "TAXI" scene that others have mentioned
