I'm not to concerned with things being cut out on DVDs. After all it could be worse. (Consider cut scenes when ABCFamily or the ION network airs sitcoms.) Besides, ALF reruns haven't been on TV for years. It's great to see ALF in any form. Still, I'd like to see the clips of whatever scenes have been cut out of the DVDs if possible. Just thought I'd make that suggestion.

I have a few episodes from TV as well. There slightly edited but have the original music which is excised from the DVD's. I thought I'd post a classic example on You Tube. Ballad of Gilligan's Island has any theme music and mentioning of any lyric removed from the DVD version. Ironically a small portion was missing from the TV episode but was on the DVD so I inserted it in to make the complete episode. The part just after Willy says he'll even build a lagoon of his own where Kate says she'll maroon him was removed. If you look carefully you can see the video quality difference between VCR and DVD. But video quality won't get me buying cut episodes.
