Default An interesting fact about Rachel and Judy

After doing some research on the 4th Season, I noticed something about Judy and Rachel. Even though it was the last season for both of them, either of them was in a lot of episodes that year. Rachel was in 9 out of the 23 episodes that aired that year, and Judy was in 7 out of the 23 episodes. Before that those 2 charachters were seen in almost every episode for the first 3 seasons. So Season 4 was defenetley a transitional season. Sort of phasing out what the show had, and bringing in what the show was about to have. JMO

You're right, and neither of the characters had big storylines in season 4. I know Telma Hopkins was busy with her own show she was working on that year, and the writers were running out of ideas for Judy. I was glad to see Judy leave, but I always like Rachel. After her show bombed, she had tried to come back to Family Matters by the sixth season, but the writers refused to make her a regular again.

How can you be glad to see Jody leave? Jaimee Foxworth was only thirteen years old, and suddenly, she was just cut from the show, without any previous notice.

Judy was in 9 episodes too! Not 7! And she may be in more since ABC Family doesn't air tag scenes, I know she's in one tag. I don't get, if Rachel and Judy were both in the same amount of episodes, how come Judy is always in the opening credits, but Rachel is only in the opening credits if she appears in that episode?

AND roseanne88-97, HOW CAN YOU BE SO CRUEL? SHE WAS A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL. THIS REALLY MESSED UP HER LIFE TOO! SHE FELT UNWANTED AND DEPRESSED, AND GOT IN WITH THE WRONG CROWD, DOING DRUGS! THEN HER FAMILY RAN OUT OF MONEY AND WHEN SHE WAS APPROACHED BY A PORN DIRECTOR, SHE DID IT SO THAT HER FAMILY HAD SOME MONEY. IT'S VERY SAD, AND JUDY WAS A CUTE, FUNNY CHARACTER!

actually rachel was in 12 episodes during the fourth season.she was also starring in getting by at the same time.it was pretty cool because you got to see her twice on tgif at 8 on family matters and at 9 on getting by.

I feel so sorry for Judy. There was an episode, where the cast climbed out from Steve's car, the Isetta, like they had all been inside that small car at the same time. Everybody was in that scene, except poor Judy. And we also have that crime story episode. Everybody else had a part in that story. Yes, I believe even lieutenant Murtaugh was there somewhere. I'm sure Waldo was there though. But not a sign of Judy.

Judy was in the crime story episode but very briefly and she did not even have a speaking part. She was just one of the maids.
