Anyone remember Bob Eubanks game DIAMOND HEAD? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For some reason this came to me last night. I used to love watching it solely to watch the contestant go into the clear cylinder and try and grab as much $$$ as they can. I understand that GSN did air the episodes of this show for a short time. Alan Thicke also wrote the theme music.

Oh yes, was this one awful. Love the Diamond Head bonus game, though.

The bonus game was the only saving grace for me. And this show had one of the best theme songs EVER. It make me want to buy a surfboard and ride the waves.

It was a first-run syndicated show, meaning that various stations across the country aired it.

I don't remember this show, but it sounds awful from everyone's descriptions!!

Isn't "diamond head" the nickname of Kobe Bryant's wife??

It aired from January to September of 1975. Was pretty awful. Bob Eubanks himself said it was the biggest piece of junk he ever hosted.

Diamond Head is the name of a volcano in the Hawaiian islands, as a game show, I dont remember it at all

That is why they named the show Diamond Head, they named it after that volcano. It is also seen in the opening credits of the game show.
